I have read many of Gene Showalter’s adult novels and was anxious to see what she would deliver in the young-adult genre. Alice in Zombieland was a deliciously humorous romp into the paranormal world and I quickly found myself enthralled. Her unique twists on Zombies, endearing characters and action packed tale had me screaming for more. “Off With Their Heads!” There is a white rabbit but fans of the childhood fable Alice in Wonderland who are looking for a retelling, will find themselves disappointed. This unique tale is sure to delight paranormal and zombie fans.
All You Never Wanted by Adele Griffin
All You Never Wanted takes you on a dark journey into sibling jealous, a dysfunctional family. Griffin delivered a unique disturbing contemporary unlike anything I have ever read. This tale takes you on a journey dealing with the effects of instantly having money and emotional issues. It gives you a dark and sinister look at sibling rivalry. While I certainly became entangled in the tale, it left me wanted more.
Kiss of the Butterfly by James Lyon
Today I am excited to have James Lyon author of Kiss of the Butterfly here with a guest post. Enjoy his tale, and learn about his novel.
Darkness Rising by Lis Wiehl w/ Pete Nelson
I have always liked books and movies that depict the battle between good and evil. Especially books that feature demons, angels and secret societies. Darkness Rising is the second book in the East Salem trilogy and it had me on edge the entire time. Evil is coming and its starting in East Salem Massachusetts. This tale left me breathless and afraid. I cannot wait for the final installment.
Ten by Gretchen McNeil
I love a good mystery and when I heard Ten was a thriller adapted from Agatha Christie’s novel And Then There Were None I immediately preordered it. McNeil delivered a suspenseful, gripping and entertaining thriller that kept me guessing till the end. I consumed this in a single day and loved it.
