Dangerous Refuge was my first read by author Elizabeth Lowell. One of my favorite genres is romantic suspense, and while the romance developed a little too quickly it was a captivating mystery. Mini review: Suspenseful, strong characters and an interesting murder mystery.
The Wicked Wallflower is the first book in a new series called Bad Boys & Wallflowers by author Maya Rodale. This was such a fun, delicious story and a delightful beginning. You will love the Wallflowers, and the dashing young men who will be lucky enough to claim them. Mini review: warm, humorous, romantic, witty and scrumptious.

Heart-warming tales of romance, friendship and small-town charm make each of the tales a holiday delight. I giggled, sighed and thoroughly enjoyed The Sum of All Kisses, the latest installment of the Smythe-Smith Quartet series by Julia Quinn. Unique, quirky characters, wicked banter and meddling souls abound in this warm historical romance. Each of the books can be read as a standalone, but each is worth a read. Mini review: Humorous, romantic, and sweet. Quinn swept me up, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
