Butterfly Effects by Seanan McGuire is the fifteenth novel in the InCrytid series. This urban fantasy series follows the Price family, cryptozoologists who study and protect the creatures living in secret all around us. Narrated by Emily Bauer, our Cuckoo, Sarah finds herself abducted to the planet of the Johrlac, and her family heads out to save her. McGuire delivered everything I love about this series.
Narrated by Holly Adams, Highland Dragon by Genevieve Jack is the sixth audiobook in the paranormal romance series, the Treasure of Paragon. This time we are off to Ireland to meet Xavier as Avery Tanglewood agrees to retrieve him. Romance, magic, danger and swoons await you…..
Each month with my Audible membership I can select two Audible Originals, Junkyard Cats by Faith Hunter was one of those picks. Bots, a kickass heroine, killer cats and AIs made for an addictive tale.
Love and Other Wild Things by Molly Harper was another wild trip to Mystic Bayou, and I found a hundred and one reasons to keep my headphones on as I devoured this. I laughed until I had tears, gasped aloud, and dreamed about the perfect slice of pie.
I have had a craving for paranormal and urban fantasy and when offered a chance to review Kissed by a Dark Prince by Felicity Heaton the first in her Eternal Mates series I jumped. Heaton grabbed me from the very first chapters delighting me with her unique world, sexy alpha and superb narration.
