In Be in the Serpent by Seanan McGuire, Toby’s shocked to learn a friend has been an enemy in disguise all along. Trouble is coming to Faerie and the debts of the Broken Ride are coming due. You’ll want to set some time aside for this one, because the ending will have you grabbing the next.
It’s wedding time in When Sorrows Come by Seanan McGuire. Toby’s wedding has been planned and its time to travel to High Court in Toronto. Of course, things are never easy and when a plot to overthrow the High Throne itself is discovered threatening all the Westlands, Toby must intervene. The tale that unfolds was suspenseful, romantic, and full of surprises.
In A Killing Frost by Seanan McGuire Faerie’s archaic marriage traditions, have Toby searching for Simon Torquill, who isn’t her biological father but by faerie law is her father. This time, Tybalt won’t be accompanying her, and she’ll find more than anyone bargained for. If you haven’t begun the October Daye series, I highly suggest you begin!
I am continuing to listen to the October Daye series narrated by Mary Robinette Kowal with The Unkindest Tide by Seanan McGuire. The Selkies made a deal with the sea witch and it’s time to pay their debt. Once again Toby will be tested, as will the Luidaeg.
