Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff was on my most anticipated audiobooks list for 2020. This is the second audio in the Aurora Cycle science fiction fantasy series. Brilliant with action, suspense and revelations, The authors ledt me longing for the next installment.
Major Audiobook hangover! The wait for the Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews seemed to take forever and as soon as it uploaded I devoured it. Now pardon me while I cry in a corner.
All of my blog friends have been raving about the Murderbot Diaries and when the opportunity arose to listen I jumped. Best leap ever! All Systems Red by Martha Wells is the first in this series of novellas offering a suspenseful science fiction tale that will leave your inner nerd satisfied.
Today I am excited to share my thoughts on Genevieve Cogman’s Invisible Library and Masked City. These are the first two books in the fantasy series The Invisible Library. Filled with mystery and suspense we travel to alternate London and worlds filled with FAE, Werewolves, automatons, Dragons and more. This series is positively delightful.
Sweep In Peace by Ilona Andrews is the second book in the Innkeeper Chronicles. While the eBook released earlier I held out for the audio. Renée Raudman narrates and I just love the added element she brings to their stories. Sweep in Peace was intense and at times dark, but Andrews sprinkled it with a touch of humor. The listen was addictive and one that kept me up into the wee hours.
OMG! The Martian by Andy Weir narrated by R. C. Bray was epic. From the first chapter to the nail-biting conclusion I was completely spellbound. Weir and Bray had me laughing aloud, and holding my breath.
