I absolutely love the Below the Stairs Mystery novels & novellas and was excited for an early copy of Murder in Blackfriars by Jennifer Ashley. When Daniel McAdam learns a man claims to know about his childhood, Kat and he set out to learn more. It soon leads to murder and a hunt to uncover what he knew. An addictive installment with suspense, touching moments and more.
In A Moveable Feast, Kat Holloway’s employer abruptly moves Easter dinner to her friend’s house when their cook becomes ill…but something is afoot and Kate is determined to discover what is happening.
The Below the Stairs Mystery series & novellas by Jennifer Ashley are one of my favorites. A Silence in Belgrave Square is the eighth full-length novel, and Kat Holloway, our below the stairs cook & sleuth, looks for a blackmailer and worries about her beau Daniel McAdam, as he takes on a dangerous undercover case.
A Measure of Menace by Jennifer Ashley is the newest novella in the Kat Halloway Mysteries series. It was the perfect fix as we await the next full-length novel. The Mayfair house is empty while the family resides in the country, but the unexpected arrival of Lord Clifford, Lady Cynthia’s father, brings trouble.
I love the Below Stairs Mysteries from Jennifer Ashley, including the novellas. Mrs. Holloway’s Christmas Pudding is a holiday novella in which our cook Kat Holloway is blamed when a dinner guest mysteriously takes ill and she’s been tasked with creating the perfect Christmas feast. Can she clear her good name?
