This week was spent with grandchildren, working, watching thunderstorms, and trying to fix our lawnmower. Husband worked on it until our son noticed part of the engine had exploded on the side. Yep, it’s toast. I’ve gone down the murder podcast rabbit hole and I am having fun exploring. If you have a favorite, let me know. I binge-watched the new Magnolias season on Netflix and read a few books. Stay caffeinated & spread kindness.

Too bad about the mower. It seems like small motors are either super easy to fix or absolute toast. I’m so excited about the new Roberts series. It looks like a good one. Have a great week!

Sounds like a good week, despite the lawnmower. (Sorry about that) Technology has been fighting me all day too. I hope it’s not too expensive to replace.

Sorry to hear about your lawnmower! At least no one was hurt when it died/exploded itself. I see you got Birth of the Witch—I’m mildly envious! By the time I saw the email from NetGalley, all the Read Now links were gone, darn it. I’m keeping an eye out for whenever it opens up for requests on NG.

I wish we could get some of that rain. 🙁 Have fun in your rabbit hole! I keep telling myself to listen to podcasts, but I never seem to get around to it. Some day, some day. lol

Yep, lots of thunderstorms and then tornadoes here last night! Ugh to the lawnmower. But I guess that means you must get a new one. I feel like mine isn’t working as well as it should and I want to switch to an electric/battery mower, but as long as mine works I just need to keep plugging away with it. Have a good week!

Except for the lawn mower issue, sounds like a fulfilling week. I hope you can get a replacement mower soon. Have a great week! 🙂

  7. Lover of Romance

I really love that cover for the Nora Roberts. Looking forward to the review of Archangel’s Eternity. LOVE that series so deeply.

That’s too bad about your lawnmower being toast, hope you can find a new one. You, Me, & the Conspiracy looks promising, I hope it’s a good one. We had a thunderstorm here as well this week.

  9. Kyles

I had no idea there was a new season of Magnolias. That will be the next thing I watch after I finish Dutton Ranch.

    Have a wonderful week.
