We are home. We spent 4 days in Nevada and visited the Grand Canyon, Skywalk and the London Bridge. It was warm, with temps reaching 114 by late afternoon. It really is a dry heat, though, and we had a good time. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

I’m glad you had a good time on your vacation! That’s really hot, though… even when it’s a dry heat. I’ll save my Grand Canyon visit for cooler months, I think.

Sounds like a nice heat even with the temps! I can usually handle the dry heat a little better than when there is the humidity.
Angie @ Book Cottage by the Bay
Mysteries of the National Parks sounds right up my alley, so definitely listening to that. Thank you for hosting!

Sounds like a great trip 🙂 Joy Moody reminds me of the kids’ series with Judy Moody, I think? Might need to check out this version 😉

That is just too hot for me – even with low humidity. I’m glad that you enjoyed your visit.
Joanne
lol; yeah, me too, and I live in the tropics.

Glad you had a good time! 114º is too hot for me. Even as a dry heat. We’re having an uncommonly nice 2nd half of August. I’ll take it.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Oh wow! I’ve never been to Nevada myself. I know they are famous for their high temps and that was never my idea of fun. Lol. But I guess a dry heat wouldn’t be too bad. So used to wretched humidity it might be a nice change of pace! Lol.
Sometimes it’s nice not to add anything to the TBR pile! Hope you enjoy the mini break!

Nevada sounds fun!

That sounds like a nice vacation, too bad about the heat, but a dry heat is definitely preferable over a humid heat.
Steph
We love Nevada, we go at least once a year. Normally around the Vegas area and use it as a launch point – this year we are headed to Zion National Park.
