We are home. We spent 4 days in Nevada and visited the Grand Canyon, Skywalk and the London Bridge. It was warm, with temps reaching 114 by late afternoon. It really is a dry heat, though, and we had a good time. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

I had to put my link in twice because I somehow linked to last week’s post. I don’t know what I was doing but I do know my morning was busy! Hope you have a great reading week!

  2. Victoria

I’m happy to hear you had a nice vacation! I hope this week you are able to relax and get back into not-vacation mode!

  3. Sophie

I recall having such temperatures in Death Valley but not the Grand Canyon many years ago! Still I am glad you had a great time!

Sounds like a great trip 🙂 Joy Moody reminds me of the kids’ series with Judy Moody, I think? Might need to check out this version 😉

  5. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh wow! I’ve never been to Nevada myself. I know they are famous for their high temps and that was never my idea of fun. Lol. But I guess a dry heat wouldn’t be too bad. So used to wretched humidity it might be a nice change of pace! Lol.

Sometimes it’s nice not to add anything to the TBR pile! Hope you enjoy the mini break!

    Here’s my StS

I used to live in Las Vegas. I remember those temperatures well! The Grand Canyon really is a sight to behold.

That sounds like a nice vacation, too bad about the heat, but a dry heat is definitely preferable over a humid heat.

We love Nevada, we go at least once a year. Normally around the Vegas area and use it as a launch point – this year we are headed to Zion National Park.
