Last Sunday night, Hazel, four, spent the night. She asked to sleep with us in our king-size bed. She was asleep by 9 pm, and all went well. When I woke up at 4 am, my husband wasn’t in our bed, but in the guest bedroom. I figured maybe Hazel was a kicker, so he left. Nope, around 2 am, Hazel asked him to leave. She said, “Gee-Gee, your snoring is too loud, please leave. I can’t sleep!” Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

That is too funny about the snoring! And I love the name Hazel, too. Atmosphere sounds good – I’ve liked everything else by TJR.
Mary Kirkland
Oh my goodness, that is hilarious. My little dog sleeps in my bed and he is a kicker. All night, kick, kick kick.
Katherine
I had to laugh at Hazel! Too funny. My husband is a loud snorer so I have full sympathy. Snow Kissed looks really good and I need to read the second book in the Villian series. I really loved the first book. I hope you’re having a great week!
sjhigbee
Lol… they don’t sugar-coat it when they’re four, do they? I hope you all got more sleep from 4 am onwards. Our little Eliza generally surfaced at around 5 am… And I see there’s another Travis Baldree! I need to get hold of it:)). Have a great week, Kimberly.
Carla@CarlaLovesToRead

What a doll Hazel is! Telling it like it is. Stay cool!
Sophia Rose
LOL, Hazel! She’d be kicking people out of bed right and left around here.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Jinjer
That’s right, Hazel! Kick that noisy man out of that bed and let a girl get some sleep! So cute!
Meezan
LOL! That’s funny! I have Snow Kissed on my TBR. I listened to another book by RaeAnne Thayne (All Is Bright) and I really liked it. I definitely want to read or listen to more from her. Have a great week. 🙂
Elsie
Oh my heart — Hazel is a tiny queen with firm boundaries and excellent communication skills! 😂 Poor Gee-Gee banished to the guest room by a preschooler. Love that she asked so politely, too. Hope he’s recovered his dignity (and had a quieter night’s sleep!).
Sophie
OMG Kimberly, Hazel has him wrapped around her little pinky! LOL My husband is snoring extremely loudly and I move to the guest bedroom when he is waking me up.

From the mouths of babes! I hope he wasn’t too upset.
I spy Brigands and Breadknives in your haul this week. I can’t wait to read that! (But I haven’t been approved yet, alas.)
Have a good week. I hope you’re able to stay cool during the heat dome. I’ll be staying indoors as much as possible.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
LOL, the snoring thing sounds like the time I went on a trip with my brother’s family and my niece was going to share a room with me until I kept snoring and she even tried to wake me up. I woke up and she wasn’t in the room because she’d had to go down to sleep with my brother, lol. Hope you have a nice week!
Val
I love winter scene covers! I hope you enjoy all your new reads.

LOL that’s adorable! I’d probably be the one being kicked out of bed if my nieces slept with us because I’m the snorer!
Storm
That was funny! Kids crack me up, but still glad I don’t have any to deal with on a regular basis. 🙂

Out of the mouths of babes! Too funny. Our grands usually end up sideways and we are lucky to get the edges. I sometimes end up in the recliner. LOL
