Last Sunday night, Hazel, four, spent the night. She asked to sleep with us in our king-size bed. She was asleep by 9 pm, and all went well. When I woke up at 4 am, my husband wasn’t in our bed, but in the guest bedroom. I figured maybe Hazel was a kicker, so he left. Nope, around 2 am, Hazel asked him to leave. She said, “Gee-Gee, your snoring is too loud, please leave. I can’t sleep!” Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

That is too funny about the snoring! And I love the name Hazel, too. Atmosphere sounds good – I’ve liked everything else by TJR.

  3. Katherine

I had to laugh at Hazel! Too funny. My husband is a loud snorer so I have full sympathy. Snow Kissed looks really good and I need to read the second book in the Villian series. I really loved the first book. I hope you’re having a great week!

Lol… they don’t sugar-coat it when they’re four, do they? I hope you all got more sleep from 4 am onwards. Our little Eliza generally surfaced at around 5 am… And I see there’s another Travis Baldree! I need to get hold of it:)). Have a great week, Kimberly.

LOL! That’s funny! I have Snow Kissed on my TBR. I listened to another book by RaeAnne Thayne (All Is Bright) and I really liked it. I definitely want to read or listen to more from her. Have a great week. 🙂

Oh my heart — Hazel is a tiny queen with firm boundaries and excellent communication skills! 😂 Poor Gee-Gee banished to the guest room by a preschooler. Love that she asked so politely, too. Hope he’s recovered his dignity (and had a quieter night’s sleep!).

OMG Kimberly, Hazel has him wrapped around her little pinky! LOL My husband is snoring extremely loudly and I move to the guest bedroom when he is waking me up.

From the mouths of babes! I hope he wasn’t too upset.

I spy Brigands and Breadknives in your haul this week. I can’t wait to read that! (But I haven’t been approved yet, alas.)

Have a good week. I hope you’re able to stay cool during the heat dome. I’ll be staying indoors as much as possible.

LOL, the snoring thing sounds like the time I went on a trip with my brother’s family and my niece was going to share a room with me until I kept snoring and she even tried to wake me up. I woke up and she wasn’t in the room because she’d had to go down to sleep with my brother, lol. Hope you have a nice week!
