Our weather turned cool on Friday and in the low to mid 60s with strong winds. The warmest we got this weekend was 70. The sun was shining, though. I am looking forward to consistent temps in the 80s. The Royals have their last week of school before summer vacation kicks in. Hazel visited her pre-school and will begin in June. She is very excited. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

The weather is slowly starting to get to swimming temperatures here – if only the storms would hold off for a bit! Yay for the Royals finishing up the school year and how fun that Hazel will be starting preschool. I love when they’re still so excited about school. Enjoy your reading and have a great week!

Summer vacation already?! Time is flying by!
Lisa R. Howeler
We had humid temps last week and now it’s gone cold again. I am not a fan of hot weather so I am okay with cooler temps but maybe not down here in the 50s! Have a good week!

Little Hazel off to pre-school!!! Time flies.
Lydia C. Lee
Looks like a lot of romance there 🙂

Death on the Highlands was so good. If you get a chance to listen to the audiobook. It was really fun! Thanks for hosting!

Yep, last week of school for my grandson too. It’s been in the 80’s this week. It was nice. Have a good week.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
My grandkids start summer vacation after this week too! We meet them in Montana on Friday. I can’t believe Hazel will already be going to pre-school! Time flies! Have a wonderful week, Kimberly!
Jody
The weather here was the same way, Kimberly. Thank goodness the sun was shining. I hope Hazel likes her school. Have a wonderful week 🥰

This cool weather with sunny days hits the spot for me, though I do feel badly for the neighborhood kids that got all excited about getting in their pools and now have to wait until its a tad warmer. 🙂
Have a good week, Kimberly!

We’ve got one more week of school. We had really warm temps all week then it cooled down a bit this weekend. Have a good week!
Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy
It’s hard to believe it’s already the end of the school year! Enjoy your week:-)

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold up! School’s almost over?! *looks at calendar* I think we have a couple weeks left of school here. But wow. It *is* nearly summer break. Time is just whizzing by. Whew.
Jodie
Happy last week of school! The kids here are in school until the last week of June but don’t restart until after Labour Day. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
It’s always amazing how fast summer breaks start once I finished school! Lol. I’m always looking forward to fall to start again for the cooler temps and for there to be less people out and about or to have to contend with when it comes to certain book sales! Lol.
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them both!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

I’m amazed too that school is out for summer! I remember suffering thru most of June back in the day. And suffering is what I was doing one day last week when it got into the 90’s here in SC. Rain all week and then a hot and humid day to round it all out! Have a great week ahead!

The summer holidays here already! Yours are always ahead of ours – but I can’t quite believe that we’re so nearly at that time of year…

This year has gone so fast. It’s crazy to think about the kids being out for summer already. Have a great week!

Wait… Summer vacation already? So early? Till when does it last? In the Netherlands they start in July and will end in late august or early September, depending on the region you’re in.
Emily @ Budget Tales Book Blog
We have had sunshine here. We then had a couple of days of a cooler wind which I liked. Sunshine on the school run pushing a heavy pushchair is not pleasant!
Our school years run September to September. The summer holidays are at the end of July to the first week in September.
Have a great weekend!

Our weather has been so unsettled. There are people in our town who haven’t had power since Friday because of the storms. We only lost internet which has been good for reading.
Lori
We had some nice hot days and then dangerous storms with tornadoes rolled through. We were safe but 3 small towns near us had tons of damage but no fatalities. All together there were 4 tornadoes.
It is hard to believe school in almost done for another year. Time just flies so fast.
Kyles
Dust Storm is on my TBR so I’m interested to read what you think of it. Happy reading!
Laurel-Rain Snow
I am hoping for more consistent weather, too. I did put up my patio umbrella, though, and hope to spend more time out there.
Enjoy those books and your week.
