We had our first significant snowfall, and the kids were home from school on Wednesday. It has been bitterly cold and will continue to be so for the next week. Lows in the negatives and single digit highs. ❄️ Saturday we got another 4 inches of snow and expect the same on Monday. Tuesday’s lows -32 wind chill. I will be inside, sitting by the fire…lol The Royals were off Friday and are enjoying a four-day weekend. We took all three grandkids to lunch and spent the afternoon at the Children’s Museum. They had a blast. It was a pleasant distraction from the news. Stay Caffeinated.

The children’s museum sounds fun. I used to love doing that with the kids. And yay to snow too!
Rolé @ Hooked By That Book
It is fffffffreezing here too. But things are going to get warmer later this week. I always enjoy Eloisa James and I am also looking forward to One Dark Kiss. Hope you have a great week.

We’ve had rain, rain, rain. Lots of wind today and a power outage. Supposed to get cold and snow on Weds. Ugh. I hope you enjoy your indoor time and fire. That’s way too cold for me. lol
Sophia Rose
Yikes! You sure are getting the polar blast. We’re in the freezer this week once this last snow storm pushes through. Glad you could have a bit of fun at the Children’s Museum.

It seems to me that the Royals enjoyed the snow! It’s colder here too but not extremely cold thank god! Have a great week Kimberly!

My kids had a snow day on Thursday. When the forecast looked awful, I told my boss on Wednesday that Thursday would be a snow day for me too! LOL I absolutely hate driving in this yuck. It’s snowing heavily here again today. Ugh.
Melissa
You know, as hard as that deep cold can be, the snow tempers it for me. That cold with zero cold is just an absolute waste 😉 I hope you’re staying cozy and warm, having a wonderful weekend! Thank you for hosting us here! I’m excited to explore new blogs and bloggers <3
Rachel @Waves of Fiction

We had that bitter cold a few weeks ago, in the misuses. It was horrible, so I feel ya, Kimberly. The ice and snow were just as bad. I am so happy the Royals had a grea time at the museum.
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
We got a few inches of snow last week, nothing like back in January though. But there is more snow and frigid temps on the way for us! We have school on Monday to. make up for some of the snow days we’ve already taken. Have a nice week! Enjoy staying inside in this weather.
Bookworm
The museum sounds nice. It’s freezing here also. Enjoy your books by the fire!

We have snow coming our way. But the bitter chill has been here awhile and doesn’t seem to be going away. It’s all the groundhogs fault. The Dark Library looks good. Have a great week!

I’m glad you were able to have some memorable family time! Have a great week.
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Seems like the snow and cold were all over the US last week! We had some low temps but then it got warmer as well (at least above freezing). We have more predicted snow for Tuesday into Wednesday this week, so we may be looking at more school closures for Wednesday I suspect.
Nice new reads! These are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS

I hope that the kids enjoy the snow. Crazy temperatures. Our temperatures are pretty low but no snow. We had sunshine and a chilly wind. It is now school holidays for my oldest so some snow would be fun 😂
Have a great rest of the weekend!

I hope it warms up soon! We were slammed with a ton of snow this week and I haven’t been able to get out much. Sitting by the fire sounds like a solid plan!
