Nowhere to Hide by Lindsay McKenna is the first book in the romantic suspense series Delos. It delivered a heart tugging romance surrounding two damaged individuals, but didn’t deliver the suspense I felt the synopsis promised.
Today I am sharing reviews of At The Edge and Edge of Surrender the first two books in Laura Griffin’s new Alpha Crew series. Both books surround the same case and feature heroine Emma Wright and Ryan Owen a SEAL who is part of an élite group known as the Alpha Crew. While I had a terrific time with these novellas and couple, the story didn’t have the depth I have come to love in Griffin’s Tracer series.
Fighting Dirty by Lori Foster is the fourth and final book in the Ultimate series. The series focused on MMA fighter, their town and friends. While I have enjoyed all of the books in the Ultimate series, Fighting Dirty was my most anticipated. From book one, I have wanted Armie Jacobson’s story and Foster delivered all that I wanted and more.
As many of my followers know, I have worked my way through a backlog of series that have been on my eReader, bookshelf and wish list. I finally started the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Mercury Striking is the first novel in Rebecca Zanetti Scorpius Syndrome series an intense post-apocalyptic romantic suspense that I devoured. Zanetti is an author I have been meaning to try and when I saw this was a new series in a post-apocalyptic setting, I knew it was fate. Action packed, with strong alpha males and snarky, intelligent women Zanetti started this series off with a bang.
