The City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin is the third and final book of the Passage trilogy. The wait was long, expectations were high and attempts to savor this last book failed. The City of Mirrors was a brilliant finale to this epic post-apocalyptic fiction. Unique and brilliantly written the dark and light clash for one last battle as our future is determined.
The Dirt on Ninth Grave by Darynda Jones
I devoured The Dirt on Ninth Grave, book nine in the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. After the jaw-dropping, nail-biting conclusion of Eighth Grave After Dark, I was nervous about what we would face going into this novel. I should have set those trepidations aside because Jones handled it brilliantly. I loved how the events in The Dirt on Ninth Grave unfolded.
Rescuing the Bad Boy by Jessica Lemmon
Rescuing the Bad Boy is the second novel in Jessica Lemmon’s Second Chance series and after the good time I had with Bringing Home the Bad Boy I knew I had to read the next installment. Boy Howdy am I am glad that I did. Donovan Pate made my heart do flip-flops and I wanted to kiss every one of his scars. Jessica Lemmon brings heat to this small-town romance series with fleshed out characters and a town readers will want to visit again and again.
Fair Game by Patricia Briggs
I enjoyed the first two books, but Fair Game by Patricia Briggs hooked me and I know without a doubt that I will continue the Alpha & Omega series. Filled with danger, humor and character development I love this world. Our little bunny is turning into one heck of an Omega.
