Season for Scandal is the third book in Theresa Romain’s Holiday Pleasures series. The tale offers up a twist on the marriage of convenience trope with complicated and troubled characters. While this wasn’t my favorite, it was well paced with suspense and mystery that kept me engaged. Mini review: secrets complicated characters and slow to build romance.
It Takes Two to Tangle by Theresa Romain
Theresa Romain’s new Matchmaker Trilogy starts off with a bang with It Takes Two to Tangle. She offers up to unique characters who a drawn to each other in friendship and discover something more. I easily consumed this and was delighted Romain offered a dish different from the usual courses served in this genre. Three word review: warm, enchanting and romantic.
Season for Surrender by Theresa Romain
When I saw the gorgeous cover I was immediately drawn to Season for Surrender. While not part of a series, this book tells the tale of Louisa Oliver a character from Romain’s first novel a Season of Temptation. I found the cast of character’s attending the Christmas House party of Alexander Edgeware, Lord Xavier to be absolutely delightful. I quickly consumed this and walked away feeling good.
