Not much to report. The Royals and their cousin kept me busy all week chasing them on bikes and cutting the tops of ice pops. I am once again behind on reviews. Thankfully they are for July posts, but I don’t like to wait too long before getting my thoughts down. I got them prepped on Friday and hope to catch up this weekend. I love summer, but I am going through the change and feel like I am a puddle from the moment I wake. I am even taking cold showers, something I would never have done a year ago. LOL Happy Father’s Day to our Dad’s in the states. Stay Caffeinated.

I’m not sure there’s anything more summer than ice pops. Sounds like the Royals are having a fun summer and hopefully you are too! Have a wonderful week!

Oh, hot flashes are no fun. At all. I still get them, too. Best of luck catching up on your reviews! I am drastically behind on mine, but hope to do at least some catching up later this month. I have notes for some books that I hope to write up.

Enjoy this week with the Royals!

I don’t know how you keep up with it all. July reviews would be way ahead. I’m perpetually working on something for the upcoming week. Whenever I get farther ahead I read something for fun that I don’t have to review and I’m back to reading for this week.

I love summer so much. In the winter the cold gets into my bones and it is so hard to get warm. In the summer cool showers are nice and reset my body temperature quickly. I am sorry you have that extra issue now though, that does make it tough.

Try to have a fun week with the Royals.

I am hot all the time too! Been that way since shortly after my hysterectomy 10 years ago I think. Ugh. I keep it pretty cool in the library and other people complain, but I tell them they can put on more clothes and I can only take so many things off. lol I am the same with reviews. I don’t want to do them right after I read the book, but if I wait too long then I can’t remember some things well enough and my reviews are very short. Other than the heat, sounds like a good week!

Yay for the summer months, they go by too quickly. The night sweats are very annoying and they wake me up these past few years all the time. Hang in there!

oooh GOOD FOR YOU!! On the cold showers. I am taking lukewarm showers curretnly and eventually want to work towards cold showers haha I hear its super beneficial. Happy Father’s Day!

I understand the importance of keeping reviews caught up – it’s daunting if I have more than one review to do at a time. It’s Father’s Day here in Canada too! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Omg, I get hot flashes which are annoying AF during the day, but at night it sucks. Constantly disrupting my sleep. Ugh Women sure get the short end of the stick in the biology department. lol

I went through the change already and am well acquainted with colde showers Kimberly! Good luck. Maybe eating ice pops with the grand kids would not be a bad idea… LOL

  11. Jessica @ a GREAT read

I’m honestly not looking forward to that delightful time myself. It’s bad enough I boil every single summer, I don’t know how I will handle internal boiling all the time. I know my poor mom just started having a second run of it, definitely hope that bit skips a generation! Lol. Glad you had a nice time with the Royals too!

Nice new read! That’s a new to me one but I hope you will enjoy it!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Sounds like a fun but busy week! I don’t like the heat as much these days, either. Hopefully you’re having a nice weekend. We went to the lakeshore and had pizza today (a day early for Dad’s day).
