Hereafter by Kate Brian

After the cliffhanger ending of Shadowlands, I was anxious to step back into Kate Brian’s world with Hereafter. Once again I got swept up with Juniper Landing and its inhabitants. Brain fleshes out the world and characters, as she weaves mystery and suspense into her tale. Three word review: captivating, mysterious and ends in a major cliffy!

I love a good historical romance, and when you add in suspense and a little mystery I begin to drool. I Married the Duke is the first in the Prince Catchers series by Katherine Ashe and from the very first pages I was enthralled.  Three charming, orphaned sisters, and a prophecy ensures this series will be a delight. Three word review: romantic, suspenseful with delightfully flawed characters.

This compelling tale set in Oleander, Kansas will send chills down your spine with its blend of science-fiction and horror. If you recently spent the summer watching, “Under the Dome” by Stephen King. this tale offers a similar yet darker tale that will keep you reading and searching for answers. Day One by Nate Kenyon is an eerily plausible science-fiction thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat as we experience the first day of a cyber takeover in the heart of New York City. The synopsis says Cloverfield meets the Terminator and that is exactly what Kenyon delivered. Three word review: thrilling, terrifying and past-paced.

Getting Rowdy by Lori Foster

Romantic suspense is one of my favorite genres offering me a little mystery, some action and a side dish of romances with an HEA. Lori Foster and her Love Undercover series has been one of my recent favorites. Since the beginning I have been patiently waiting for Rowdy Yates tale. Getting Rowdy is hands down my favorite of the series to date and was soooo worth the wait! Rowdy Yates Is my new book boyfriend. Three word review: Hot, addicting, and a perfect read.
