Flawed and Damaged is the debut new adult novel for Emily Krat and first in the Damaged Hearts series. While dubbed new adult, the male protagonist is slightly older and the female heroine is out in the world force in Moscow. It was a fun, fast-paced novel that while not without flaws kept me entertained.

Beautiful Oblivion by Jamie McGuire
Beautiful Oblivion is the first in the Maddox Brothers series and the third book in the Beautiful series by Jamie McGuire. I have loved this series from the get-go and fell in love with Trenton Maddox. Beautiful Oblivion takes place during Abby and Travis Beautiful Disaster, and we catch glimpses of their world-wind relationship.
The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I was excited to continue my journey in the Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin and once again went with the audio version for The Evolution of Mara Dyer. I love an unreliable narrator, and Hodkin is brilliant at keeping the reader second-guessing. I liked The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, but I loved the twisted, mind-bending tale delivered in the Evolution of Mara Dyer.

What would you do if you had five minutes alone with the person who hurt you or yours?
The Collector by Nora Roberts
I adore Nora Roberts novels from her books filled with paranormal woo-woo to her romantic suspense and everything in-between. Honestly, I think I have read every one of her books since I was a teen. While they are not always, my favorite books I can whole-heartedly claim I enjoyed them all. The Collector for me was exceptional, with its interesting, quirky heroine to the suspense-filled tale that had me flipping the pages and losing track of reality.
