Poor Clayton had croup early in the week, but with the help of steroids, he is feeling better. I have an appoint with my OGBYN, this week to see if my headaches are caused by hormonal changes. This week they were awful, but the weather may have affected them. We had rain, fog, snow, sleet and more snow. I am enjoying Daisy Jones and the Six on Prime and the Mandalorian on Disney. Not much else to report. It was miserable out Saturday, so I caught up on writing reviews. Stay Caffeinated.

I hope Clayton is feeling even better by now and your doctor tracks down the cause of your migraines. What miserable weather you’ve been having. I hope this week was better.

  2. Katherine

Weather is the main trigger for my migraines but I think hormones run a pretty close 2nd. I hope you get some answers and some relief! Pour Clayton. Croup is one of those illnesses that is just as miserable as it sounds. I hope he is feeling a lot better. Have a great week!

  3. Lorna

Poor little prince. I’m glad he’s feeling better now. I can’t wait to watch Daisy Jones. I’m waiting for more of the episodes to be released. I’m jealous you got the book You Can Die. I just listened to book 2 a couple of weeks ago? Maybe longer. I gave up on Net Galley when I quit reviewing on blogs. But I still review-maybe they might want me for something? I don’t know how that works.

Oops. Forgot to mention your headaches. Could it be allergies? The pollen here is awful and I’ve been having headaches too. But I do take daily prescribed meds for them and it keeps them down to a dull roar rather than knocking my head for a loop. I didn’t even know GYN doctors even did that!

  4. MarthaE

Sorry the young one had croup. I hope your doctors can help with your condition.
Interesting new titles – two with graveyards. Both of those get my interest as does Nevermore Bookstore. Have a good week and Happy Reading!

  5. Carla

I sure hope you can figure out what is causing those headaches, Kimberly. Have a wonderful week.

  6. vidya

Hope the weather and those headaches clear up soon.. And you can enjoy the books you have on your shelf..

  7. sjhigbee

Urg! Rain, fog, sleet, snow and headaches??? That truly sounds like a dire week, Kimberly. Thank goodness for enjoyable books and TV series! Let’s hope this coming week is a whole lot better, particularly on the headache front. Fingers crossed they get to the bottom of them.

  8. Meezan

I’m planning to watch The Mandalorian in May during Star Wars month. I have to limit myself to just May for Star Wars, otherwise I immerse myself too much into it for too long. Lol. I hope you and your family have a better week this week. 🙂

  9. Jinjer

I’m curious to find out about your headaches, too, because I get really bad headaches here in Arkansas whenever the barometric pressure changes due to incoming rain / fog etc.

Daisy Jones is on my TBW list!

I used to get the croup when was a kid (A long time ago). Back then, my mom would put Vicks in a pot of hot water and have me stand over it with a towel over my head. A homemade vaporizer!

  11. Sophia Rose

Poor kiddo, the croup is miserable and so are daily headaches. Hope they can help you with those. Wild weather this past week.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  12. Mareli Thalwitzer

Hormones can be such a b.i.t.c.h. with headaches! I do hope they can get it sorted out soon for you.

Good for you for catching up on reviews – I’m endlessly behind at this stage!

oh no, you are still having headaches? Those are the WORST! I hope your doctor can figure out why. I am very excited for that upcoming Zanetti, she has done so good with these romantic thrillers.

  14. Sophie

I really hope the OBGYN can help you Kimberly! And our weather has been atrocious this week. Sending hugs!

  15. Jodie

I hope they determine what is causing your headaches and you feel better soon. I also wish that Clayton heals quickly. I’m also loving Daisy Jones and The Six and hope that you enjoy The Good Luck Cafe as much as I did. Have a great week!

  16. A Voracious Reader

I hope you get some relief from the headaches. Though I agree that the weather changes could have contributed. Mother Nature be trippin’ balls because it’s actually snowing here in NC at this moment. Not much, but it’s still snow. lol

  17. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Sorry to hear about Clayton! Hope he feels better soon! Hope your doctor appointment goes well too and they can find a way to help the headaches! A reader should never have to suffer through a headache!

Nice new reads! All totally new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

I need to watch the new season of Mandalorian. Happy reading this week!

  19. Jill

I hope you figure out something about your headaches soon. That doesn’t sound fun.

  20. Rejitha

A mixed weather can really bring headache. Hope you feel better soon.
Also, Nevermore Bookstore sounds quite interesting.

  21. Wendy

Poor Clayton, I’m glad he’s starting to feel better. I hope you figure out the cause of your headache’s soon, Kimberly.

  22. Lori

I am so glad you are going to the doctor. The weather being a mixed bag of yuck sure wasn’t good either. It is snowing here now with more on the way. I am so ready for Sping. Take Care of YOU!

  23. Laurel-Rain Snow

I hope your weather and your headaches are better, I watched a little of Daisy Jones, and read the book a few years ago. Have a great week.

  24. Greg

I can’t believe it’s time to spring forward ALREADY. Didn’t we just fall back lol? I’m loving the Mandalorian too… so glad that’s back. 🙂
