Huzzah… I am caught up with reviews. I have three weeks scheduled ahead with reviews & posts sprinkled well into October and November. It feels so good not to have all those Goodreads emails in my Inbox reminding me I’ve finished a book. I actually wrote reviews for the books I READ this week. Now to keep it that way. I finished the Crown and need to find something else to binge until new stuff comes out. Any recommendations? I have Netflix, Hulu, Disney and Prime. Stay Caffeinated.

I’m still a bit behind on writing and getting posts scheduled. I might try and work on that this weekend if I can. It’s just been really busy IRL.

I can’t wait for Fraterfest. I’m sooo excited for all the mysteries and thrillers and spooky reads. Favorite time of year, and I have so many suitable books on the TBR.

Glad you are excited for Fraterfest. I am hoping it pushes me to catch up on my Goodreads challenge. I am teetering between 6-8 books behind. Have been all year..lol
I hope you get caught up.

    • Kimberly

It’s hard to keep caught up. I finished two books over the weekend and just wrote one review. I will need to hunker down and get the next one written before finishing another book…lol

    • Kimberly

I set a goal for myself with four reviews written a week until I was caught up. I broke it down. I prepped on day one each week and then wrote one every other day.

  2. vidya

Oh my! that is amazing (and inspiring) that you are all caught up and set for the next few weeks as well 🙂 That is definitely giving me a push to play catchup (lots to do)..

  3. Nise'

Always a great feeling to be caught up with reviews! Looking forward to the new Sunshine book. Have a great week.

  4. sjhigbee

Delighted to hear that you’ve caught up with the reviews! I hate it when I’ve fallen behind with mine – and right now I’m horribly behind with the reading, never mind the reviews:(. Ho hum – I’m not going to get too wound up about it, as there’s more than enough going on here right now!! Have a great week, Kimberly:).

  5. MarthaE

I hope you are staying healthy.
Congrats on getting caught up on reviews. I am more behind. 🙁
You have the new Darynda book – Enjoy!

  6. Sophia @ Bookwyrming Thoughts

I’m happy to hear you’re all caught up with reviews and that you’re ahead schedule-wise! That’s always a great feeling to have. I’ve heard good things about The Crown and have it on my radar for watching at some point. If you’re up for a Chinese drama, I recently finished Love Between Fairy and Devil that I’ve been recommending to people (it’s in the process of being uploaded to Netflix I believe). Other than that, I haven’t been watching anything else beyond Season two of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I love Disney+. It’s the only streaming channel I subscribe to (except Hulu, which is included in my cell phone plan). I recently discovered the show Once Upon a Time on Disney+. I have seven seasons to catch up on! I’ve only watched two episodes so far, but I like the premise of the show. Have a great week! 🙂

Great job on getting caught up! I read the first book in that Darynda Jones series and loved it. I need to get to the 2nd one and now this one! Have a wonderful week.

  9. Jinjer

Congrats on getting caught up on reviews! I have a series that I highly recommend, but unfortunately it’s on HBO or Showtime. Hacks starring Jean Smart. SO GOOD! If you get a free trial for whatever channel it’s on, maybe check it out!

  10. Carla

Happy Fall, Kimberly. Wow, good for you getting all caught up. I am still behind, but fingers are crossed, I will get there. If you like crime fiction, I am working my way through Bosch and enjoying it on Prime. Have a wonderful week.

  11. Mary Kirkland

It’s always nice to get the reviews written. My reading has slowed down a little but then picked back up this week and I read 3 books in 3 days. I wrote the reviews already too so I am pleased with myself.

Well done for catching up with your book reviews. I don’t think I’ll ever manage to do that! I bet it feels amazing to have so many posts already scheduled. I wish I was that organised. As far as TV recommendations go, try The Sandman on Netflix if you haven’t already.

  13. Sophia Rose

Yay for you! Love the feeling of being all caught up.

I got the latest Sunshine Vicram series book, too.

Have a great first week of fall, Kimberly!

    • Kimberly

Sweet. Enjoy. Yep, I used to always write a review within a few days of reading a book, but this past year…nope. I had books from June…yikes. I was writing them each week for posts. Never again. I like my three-week cushion.

  14. Wendy

It feels so good to catch up! I was way behind earlier this month and finally got caught up too. Have a great week, Kimberly

    • Kimberly

I was ahead on books needing to be read by certain dates…it was all the reviews I needed to write. I had almost sixteen reviews sitting in a queue.

  15. Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)

It’s nice to feel on top of things! In a way I’m on top of review books, ones that I have to do for tours. And I’ve mostly been ahead of posts every week, maybe only having to add a review the night before the post is supposed to go up because I just finished the book. I don’t have any drama shows to recommend since Outlander is about the only one I’m watching these days. Hope you have a good week!

Congratulations on getting caught up! After taking last week off, I need to get caught up on mine now. Wonderful haul again this week! I hope that you enjoy them all. Have a wonderful week ahead!

    • Kimberly

I have one, but I have just finished the book today, and will write the review tomorrow. I am not getting behind again….gads. Hope you catch up now that you are home.

    • Kimberly

LOL, I am ok there as my review posts by release date, but I had this pile of reviews from the summer and I’d write the reviews for the next week, but add two or three more books that needed reviews written to the cue.

  17. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Yay for getting caught up! That’s gotta be a nice feeling!! I haven’t really found a good show to watch myself yet. I find I’m either reading or doing something where my attention is focused on it, so I rarely find something to “watch.” But I am looking forward to Hocus Pocus 2 next week! Though I’m sure I won’t be able to watch it since everyone will and the movie will spend hours buffering. That’s happened to me several times when I went to watch a new film drop. Sigh…

Nice new read! I still need to read last year’s release in this series but I did enjoy the first book! Hope you enjoy this third installment!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Lol, I purposely get the Goodreads email telling me I finished a book. I leave it unread until I have written the review. It’s one of the methods I use to track.

  18. Sophie

I admire that you accomplished to have three weeks ahead of you Kimberly! I wish I was as organized as you are! Congrats!

    • Kimberly

Whelp, even this anal organizer can fall behind. It took some work to accomplish, but I must admit, it sure feels good.

  19. Tessa

Yay! It always feels good to be caught up. I’ve been watching Ring of Power on Prime and She Hulk on Disney but I don’t know if you like those kinds of shows. I think they’re good 😊. Have a great week!

That is right, I am waiting for all the episodes to be uploaded and then I will binge Ring of Power. I was skeptical abut She Hulk. Glad to hear you liked it.

  20. Livia

Yay, congrats on catching up on book reviews! I don’t think I’ll ever catch up on mine. I have an entire GoodReads shelf dedicated to Read but still Need To Review books. Depending on your mood, I recommend IN THE DARK on Netflix, GOLIATH and SNEAKY PETE on Prime, ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING and FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL on Hulu – if you haven’t seen them already of course., Happy TV show binge watching!

  21. Laurel-Rain Snow

Congrats on catching up with your reviews! I am trying to find something new to binge, too, but I’m watching movies in the meantime. I just watched Unknown, starring Liam Neeson. Very intense!

    • Livia

Unknown is one I’ve seen a couple of times. I love Liam Neeson. To me, he has yet to do a bad movie in his long career.

  22. Greg

Yay congrats! It feels good to be ahead. We watched a little of The Crown too. I’m sort of between shows at the moment- I’m looking for something new too. I am watching Rings of Power on Amazon and it’s not bad.
