  1. Mary @thebooklover

Thanks for hosting! To date, I have listened to a total of 16 audiobooks. Not the best streak but working on it! Makes me Socially Awkward and holds much truth for me. Hope you are having a wonderful summer!

    Mary

  2. Gilion at Rose City Reader

This is such a fun challenge because I love reading with my ears! One of my standouts this year has been In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park. What an inspiring story!

  3. Jessica B

I have so far listened to 42 audiobooks. I have reached what I was striving for. Time to shoot for another one lol I’ll try for the 100 club. I really enjoyed 2 books and I’m not sure if it was just because of them doing a cast reading but I would totally recommend people listen to the audiobook. World War Z by Max Brooks and Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce

  4. Sherilyn Brumback

I’m at 36 audiobooks. The best one so far is Darling Girl by Liz Michalski.

  5. Lily

I’ve listened to 35 audiobooks so far this year. 🙂 I think I’ll still be able to reach my Over-Achiever (Power Listener) 75+ goal.

  6. Jen

I’m doing well so far on my challenge, just about the mid-point for my goal (60 books). Usually summer is a slow down, so we’ll see how I do in the end!

  7. Amanda Sampey

Goal: Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands) 50+
I am currently at 46 audiobooks so far this year.

  8. Berls

My Goal is the Overachiever and I’m at 56 books so I’m thinking I will actually hit the 100 club. I haven’t been tracking how many audios I read per year so I wasn’t sure where to set my goal, but looks like I could have gone higher! Thanks for hosting!

  9. Sandra Jones

I have listened to 23 audiobooks so far this year. Three of them have been five star. They were The Island by Adrian McKinty; Mirrorland by Carole Johnson; and The Keeper of Stories by Sally Page

  10. Wendy

I’m at only 10 out of 30, but I’ve listened to a few more that I just need to write review. I like this check in because now I know I have to listen to more audiobooks for the rest of the year!

    • Kimberly

Agreed, it helps. You do not have to write reviews to count them. Just need to show listened.

  11. Susan

My favorite listen so far….so many, however the standout is The Mixtape by Brittainy Cherry narrated Jordan Cobb and James Shippy. My goal is to achieve The 100 Club (Audiobook Addict)!! Thanks for hosting Kim…its so much fun to escape!!

  12. Jan Farnworth

I messed up on the raffle copter I entered the wrong info for the first one where you put your initial sign up number

  13. MarthaE

Thanks as always for hosting. I am on track for my goal – 57 of 100.
My favorites (4.5 to 5.0) are listed in my post. My only 5.0 so far is The Black Wolves of Boston, Book 1, by Wen Spencer. I wish there were more in the series but not so far.

  14. Sophia Rose

Looks like you’re right on track, Kimberly.

I’m working on 100+ Club and have a nice lead into the second half of the year. My favorites are the Sebastian St. Cyr series read by Davina Porter. Cherry Jones who does the Little House series and Carrington MacDuffie who did The Cherokee trail are new favorite narrators for me.

  15. Lover of Romance

I have been doing a good job with this challenge for the year, and discovered some great audiobooks. Probably There With You by Samantha Young has been my favorite audio.

  16. Alicia

The Haunting Of Brynn Wilder by Wendy Webb is so far my favorite. I really enjoyed it. I’m currently listening to For The Throne by Hannah F. Whitten and that might just become the new favorite.

  17. Barbara H.

My favorite audiobooks this year would be between The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow (the events of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and beyond from the viewpoint of Mary, the quiet, bookish middle sister) and Once Upon a Wardrobe by Patti Callahan (novel about a college girl asking C. S. Lewis about Narnia for her dying younger brother). I’m aiming for Binge Listener and am at 12 books, so right on track.

  18. Lucy @ Bookworm Blogger

I’m currently sitting at 50 and hope to make the 75 before the end of the year. I have loved so many audiobooks it’s really hard to choose a favourite.

  19. Tonnie - The Book Junkie Reads . . .

I’m club 100 all day long. My true goal would be to reach 100 in a month. I am still reaching for that goal. I’d like to say that I have done well thus far.

Absolute favorite thus far : Men of Whiskey Row Boxed Set, Books 1-6 by D. A. Young Narrators Morae Brehon & Sean Crisden – Contemporary Series Multicultural
With Dark Planet Warriors: Books 1-4 by Anna Carven Narrators Jillian Macie & Todd McLaren – Science Fiction from Tantor Audio a close runner-up.
But The Mixtape by Brittainy Cherry Narrators Jordan Cobb & James Shippy – Contemporary made me stop and think of how life for everyone differs from just bit to a gorge.
