We had some wickedly cold temps, high winds and blowing snow this last week. This week we will have days that reach 70°. I am so ready for Spring. I spent Thursday in the ER with my youngest, who ended up being diagnosed with kidney stones. I do not envy the weekend she is having. I continue to be behind on the blog. I need a vacation. I hope your week was a good one. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

Oh no! I’m aware that kidney stones are agonising:((. So sorry that your daughter is suffering and I hope she soon gets rid of it. And as for your weather – that’s just… crazy. I hope the coming week is a kinder one, Kimberly.

Oh no, a trip to the ER over a weekend is never fun!

I do hope you get to have a vacation soon, it seems as if you really need it! I’m still busy with Red, but will be ready for the blog tour on Thursday.

Have a good week Kimberly and take care of yourself.

I always think that when the weather starts swinging wildly like that, spring can’t be far away. But those warm days make me more impatient for it than ever! I hope your daughter feels better soon.

  9. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Sorry to hear about your youngest! I hope that all moves along quickly for her.

Nice new reads! I’ve got a copy of Jennifer’s on my review pile I need to get to! Been seeing a lot of buzz over Atlas Six. I suspect this is FL’s first adult book only subscription pick so I’m hoping it lives up to all its hype!

    Happy Reading!

oh no! hope everything is fine now. I’m assuming your youngest can drink beer? it’s a pretty good remedy when paired with water.

  12. Lola

I also am ready for spring, we had a bunch of storm this month and this week we finally got some warmer weather and sunshine and it really makes me look forward to spring. I am sorry to hear about your youngest having kidney stones, I hope she feels better soon. Have a great week!

  13. Mia @ Genre Books and Me

So sorry for your daughter! I have a daughter who had gallstones and had her gallbladder removed a week after a c-section. Painful all around. We have mixed up weather here too. I’m looking forward to seeing butterflies and flocks of birds back at our feeder. Have a good week.

Kidney stones sound absolutely miserable. Please give your daughter my best wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope the warmer weather gives you a pleasant break (and doesn’t bring storms!), and that you can get a vacation sometime soon (or at least a day off!)

Oh I’m so sorry to hear about your youngest. My husband used to get them occasionally and they seemed like the absolute worst. Hopefully the pain won’t be too awful and they’ll pass as easily as possible. Have a wonderful week!

  17. Greg

Oh no- I’m so sorry to hear about your youngest. That sounds awful. Hoping she doesn’t have too much pain.

New Mihalik sounds good. I read one of her books and really liked it.

    Be well!

The weather was weird. A bunch of snow melted two hours after shoveling. I hope your youngest feels better soon
