Our tree and holiday lights went up last weekend. This weekend I am staying in my pajamas and hoping to kick this cough, congestion and death rattle to the curb. While resting, I am writing up reviews (I have nine to write..eep) and watching holiday classics and catching up on shows. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

Oh man you got the crud! I hope it’s not the Covid crud! Feel better!

Hope you feel better soon.. Dealing with allergies for this past week makes me feel even more for you and here is to a sniffle free holidays for all of us..
The ‘A Lady of Ashes’ series covers look so cool…

  3. MarthaE

Glad your decorations are up. I do hope you get to feeling better quickly.
Nice looking book haul this week.
    Happy Reading!

  4. RO

I sure hope you feel better soon, and yes to watching Christmas movies and relaxing a little bit. Sending some healing hugs your way! RO

Ooo snuggling up with plenty of hot drinks, festive films and reviews to write sounds pretty divine to me! 😊 I am finally feeling better and have been able to return to work. We’re not as organised as you though, as we’ve only managed to get our lights up on the house – I haven’t started the tree/inside yet! 🎄

Take care, get well and happy reading! 🙂

I’m glad you’re feeling better. We put up all of our holiday decor last week as well. Today we are hosting our first actual Christmas party at our new house since COVID sidelined it last year.

I am so sorry to hear that you are so sick, hope you had a fun time putting up all the Christmas decorations, it’s such fun right?

    Happy Reading to you!

  8. Sophia Rose

Yes, hopefully a quiet weekend will help with the cruddy sickness and whew, nine to knock out from the reviews stack. Go tiger!
I didn’t get the Lady of Ashes audios, but I was curious so I’ll look forward to your thoughts on those.
Glad you could get your Christmas decorations all up.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

I’ve become a huge fan of ‘slow days’ spent in pjs watching favourite shows. I hope that you manage to throw off the chest infection and that the review-writing isn’t too much of a beast… Have a good week, Kimberly.

Hope you feel better soon. I’ve been battling a sinus thing myself and this up and down warm / cold weather isn’t helping. Good luck getting all your reviews done. Have a great week!

Sounds like a lovely weekend despite the cough and death rattle! I might need to follow your example! Love the look of all your new reads, I hope you enjoy them and have a great weekend 🙂

  12. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Yay for Christmas decorations! We wind up putting ours up in early November so we can enjoy them for as long as possible! Or at least I do. Lol! Hope you’re able to kick your cold today and feel better tomorrow!

Nice new reads too! Those are all new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them!

I’m sending {{{megaposivibes}}} for wellness and for getting those reviews written. 9! I don’t think I’ve known you to have that many. Me? Yes. Absolutely. But you? Inconceivable! In fact, I have 6 to write now and another book I’m rushing to finish for a tour. Talk about eeeep.

  14. Lola

That’s nice you did some Christa’s decorating this week. Hopefully your cough and other symptoms will be gone soon. I hope you’ll have a good week.

  15. Katherine

I hope the weekend of rest kicks the crud you’ve been dealing with to the curb! It is time for that to go! We had kind of planned to get our decorations up this weekend but not sure if that’ll happen. Have a great week and get lots of rest!

  16. Greg

Our tree just went up. My daughter wanted to do all the ornaments so we let her. 🙂 I haven’t watched any holiday movies yet though…

Hope you are feeling better soon Kimba!

  17. Laurel-Rain Snow

I hope you enjoy relaxing in your PJs. I like doing that at least one or two days a week, especially on the weekend.

I am reading Wish You Were Here and loving it.

    Have a great week!
