I hosted Thanksgiving with 12 in attendance. I served turkey and a Honey Baked ham that my son received from his employer. Along with everyone’s favorite sides, and we topped it off with pies and cheesecake. All the kids were present, as well as my daughter’s in-laws. On Friday, we spent a few hours outside at the zoo with the Royals, then took them to lunch. We avoided the stores completely. On Saturday, I spent the day decking the halls for Christmas. Today I have the Royals until five as their Mommy works. I finished my course of antibiotics but the night time coughing and funk continues and once again my health is declining. I dread winter. Ugh. The Ho-Ho-Ho Rat has a few more days and lord do I need to sit and write some reviews…lol I hope the week ahead is good for you! Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

Sound like you have a nice Thanksgiving. Hope you get better soon. I stay home along for Thanksgiving so I never got to eat any turkey.

Boomer to feel so poorly especially as you were in charge of Thanksgiving dinner. It sounded like a good week. Hope you get some rest now.
    Happy Reading!

I love cheesecake and it always seems like a perfect Thanksgiving dessert. So glad you had a nice (if crazy) holiday. I’m so sorry to hear you’re still feeling bad. This weather change has hit me hard this year and I can’t quite get to feeling better. Have a great week!

Yes, busy and busier. Glad Thanksgiving went well and the days after. I managed to take down fall decorations, but still need to motivate on the wintery ones. Hopefully, you’ll be able to squeeze in some time for those review. Wishing you well, Kimberly!

Sorry to hear you are still under the weather Kimberly. Hopefully, you will begin to feel better soon. It sounds like it was a wonderful Thanksgiving. I also have several reviews to write and hope to get a few more finished this afternoon.

I avoided the shops as well. Although, I heard it was nothing like it used to be. My parents had to stop at Petsmart which is right next to target and costco and they said it looked like a normal day.

I am so happy you had a great Thanksgiving but sorry you are still not better. I hope this week you are able to kick the cough to the curb.

Ugh, I’ve had that coughing crap before, it is no fun! I hope you can get it to go away soon. Glad you got to have a nice Thanksgiving. Our plans had a monkey wrench thrown in them when my sister-in-law ended up testing positive for Covid so we had to scramble to get it set up at my mom’s house instead. And then one of my aunts decided not to come so we had a small group of 8 this year.

  11. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Glad you had a nice holiday! I didn’t go out to the stores all that much on Friday either. I went to the eyeglasses place to adjust my glasses, then popped in B&N to check out the signed books. Didn’t find any that I needed, but ended up with a snowglobe that I forgot to include in my post today. Whoops. Lol.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

Sounds like you had a good week with lots of family time and good food. I hope you feel better soon as that sounds annoying your health is worse every time it becomes winter.
