It rained a lot this week and was gloomy, but the sun came out for the kids’ Halloween parade, so I am not complaining. Friday I went to my daughters and watched the Royals. We put all their summer clothes in storage, ordered pizza and watched Halloween movies, while my daughter trained a new employee. It was fun. This weekend we worked on the flooring, cleaned and watched Locke & Key Season II. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

The Halloween parade and movies sound fun! We didn’t do too much though I did use it as an excuse to eat lots of candy. The Deanna Raybourn book is calling to me as I love the Veronica Speedwell series. I hope you’re having a great week!

it rained early last week for us as well and the weather has been gloomy since though clear enough over the weekend to get some backyard projects done ..
I have been curious about The Last House on Needless street from the first time I saw it.. The Man Who Died Twice sounds cool too..

Sounds like everyone is feeling better. There are bound to be some rainy and gloomy days as winter draws closer. But I’m glad it was sunny for the parade.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!

So glad the sun shone when necessary! Which is a bonus at this time of year… I hope you have a good week, Kimberly:).

That sounds nice, I need to switch out the Summer stuff for Winter now that it’s getting colder. We had an Halloween Event at work and it rain all through set up but thankfully let up for the event itself. Hope you have a great Halloween!!

We have had heavy rain here earlier on in the day then sun the rest of the day so we have been out and about Christmas shopping! My partner has also done a bit of tidying ready to put all the Christmas presents away! Once Halloween is done then I will get properly ready for Christmas!

Sounds like you had a nice day with the Royals! Oooh, the new Veronica Speedwell. I need to request that. I’m thinking about Lightening in a Mirror. Have a lovely Halloween, Kimberly!

Sorry to hear you had such gloomy weather this week, but that’s nice the sun came out for the Halloween parade. Sounds like you had a fun evening watching Halloween movies :).

Sounds like you had a pretty decent week dispite the rain, it makes me sad to put away my summer things! 🙁 I am not ready for colder weather! j

Have a great week and happy reading!

Our weather has turned to rain too this week, it’s given us time to start clearing out the attic (a seemingly never ending task!) I like the look of The Impossible Imposter – hope you enjoy it.

We had some rainy days too. But I’m glad the Royals had their parade! We have candy for tonight but don’t think we’ll see many trick or treaters. We asked at the front office and they said to buy candy we like too because we’ll probably have a lot of leftovers.

    Enjoy your week!

Sounds like a good week. I really should do something with my summer and winter clothes. I always end up keeping both in my closet and it’s a mess.
Have a great week and happy reading.

It’s been very gloomy and rainy here as well but I can’t complain since it’s truly my favourite weather.
Happy Halloween and hope you have a great week ahead (:
