Our daughter is all settled in and it seems fall has arrived with cooler temperatures. Poor little Hazel got her first tooth and with it her first ear infections, cough and running nose. Sophia got it as well and while she wasn’t happy it was fall break, so at least she didn’t fall behind in school. I fought it, but finally fell. I loath head colds. I am miserable, but at least I have the Fraterfest RAT to keep me busy while sipping hot tea and endlessly blowing my nose! Hoping you are well and that you had an amazing week! Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.
Psst…it’s not too late to join the Fraterfest Readathon.

Jen
Head colds are the worst. I hope you remain healthy and everyone else feels 100%
MarthaE
Sorry to hear you all are fighting colds. Cold weather/changes of weather tend to bring on colds. I hope everyone gets better quickly.
Meanwhile, enjoy your #FraterfestRat reading!
Carla
So sorry to hear you all got a cold. I dislike autumn colds as it seems to stick around longer. Enjoy your reading while you recover, Kimberly.
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Sorry you’re sick again – you just can’t seem to catch a break!
Katherine
It has been a tough week for the Caffeinated family! Head colds are awful and teething is no fun. That’s great that Sophia didn’t get behind in school but still it never seems fair when you’re sick on vacation! Have a great week and get to feeling better.
Jinjer
So sorry all a ya’ll have the sniffles and sneezes. That is no fun.
sherry fundin
i had a stomach bug for about a week. i didn’t feel sick but had bubble guts. lol feeling much better now. we got a new computer this week. since mr wonderful was let go due to covid, i let him use my computer whenever we are in front of the tv, so blogging has fallen behind for me. now, YAY, we each have our own laptop for use while watching tv. weather is great, but it got down in the 60s last night. today beautiful blue skies, so i am messing around with the pool and patio
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Oh, I’m sorry to hear about your cold — and Hazel’s and Sonia’s, too. I hope Clayton is doing better. The weather here has cooled back down to seasonal temperatures after a “false summer,” and I am looking forward to crisper days and fall colors. Your book haul this week reminds me that I need to get back to the Lady Sherlock series.
Ethan
So sorry to hear you and the little ones came down with colds! The cooler weather finally blew in yesterday, so it is pretty inevitable that I’ll get a cold soon. At least I have an excuse now to make lots of soup and drink all the coffee haha.
Mary Kirkland
Sorry to hear that you all got sick. Hope you feel better.
Anne - Books of My Heart
I’m so sorry. I enjoy hot tea but not the rest of it. I see you have the new Annette Marie books and the latest Sherry Thomas – enjoy!!

Sophia Rose
Bet its a relief that your daughter is all moved in, but bummer you and the kiddoes got the colds. I’ve had one all week so let’s toast with our little cup of cough syrup. 🙂 Loving my Fraterfest reading. I got the new Charlotte Holmes and the last Aurora Cycle books, too.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Lori Caswell
I am so sorry illness is running rampant and hope you all feel better quickly. I thought I was coming down with a cold but the itchy eyes now tell me it is allergies to my son’s cat. They are moving to their new place soon and I am sure that my blowing my nose and watery eyes will disappear then.
vvb
The new Sherry Thomas looks good. Take care and happy reading.
Berls
Aww I’m sorry everyone has the sniffles. I hope you are all better soon. Yay for the first tooth though! I know it’s awful as it comes in, but those 1 -2 tooth grins are the best aren’t they?! Feel better!!
Lisa Mandina (Lisa Loves Literature)
I always say next year I’m going to sign up for less review books so I can do things like Fraterfest, then I sign up for too many. Maybe 2022 I’ll do better? lol Sorry everyone got sick, hopefully you’re all on the mend and feeling better this week!
Vi @Inkvotary
Oh oh. The sniffles is going around here too. Get well soon, Kimberly. Happy reading.

Funny how we always get those head colds right when spring and autumn hits. But luckily you have all those great reads for Fraterfest RAT yes. I’m sure they keep you company (in more ways than one – evil laugh)
Have a good week Kimberly!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Sorry to hear everyone got a bit of the sniffles. Seems like that happens to me whenever the weather changes from one extreme to the other. Hope everyone is doing better now!
Nice new reads! I plan to start Kaufman & Kristoff’s new series once the third book lands at my door so I can binge it! I know from experience it’s better to do that with those two! Lol. Happy Reading!

Oh no! I hope everyone feels better soon. It’s actually been unseasonable warm here I’m not going to knock it but I wouldn’t mind it cooling enough so I can get my sweaters out.

Hope you all get well soon. We have been lucky for colds here. My partner is a teacher so we are constantly on edge! I love hot chocolate season and have started Christmas shopping so am feeling properly wintery!
Lorna
So sorry you all are under the weather right now. It’s cooler here tonight(morning)after the rain we had today. 51 right now. And I’m glad your daughter got settled. The only good thing about moving is getting rid of so much stuff especially if you move states as I did last time. Feel better!
Harvee
The weather has turned cold and wet, and so we have to watch out for the sniffles. More hot coffee, please. Take care.
