Monday we lost internet and didn’t get it back until late Wednesday. Between coming back from vacation and having the grandkids home from school on Tuesday, I was ready to pull my hair out. I spent the rest of the week trying to catch up with clients and juggling life. I didn’t get to read like I planned, but finished a 27 hour audiobook. Saturday we watched the Royals play soccer and took a moment to remember 9/11. I hope your week was a good one. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

Internet issues are maddening!! So sorry it happened to you. I’m looking forward to your review of The Love Hypothesis, it’s been on my TBR for a while, and I’m looking forward to getting it when it comes out.

life without the internet is sure hard nowadays no matter how often i think back fondly of those days when we were not forever connected to the http://www..
Kimberly
This is so true. We got our first mammoth computer with dial up and AOL “You’ve Got Mail” in the early 90s and our first cell phone that we only ever used for emergencies. Now we can’t live without them. My whole career requires internet access.
Tyler H. Jolley
Oh man Kimba, that sucks. I’m sorry you came home to such a stressful situation. Hopefully this week is better! Happy reading!
Carla
I have been following your internet difficulties on twitter and am glad you got it all worked out Kimberly. Your new arrivals look quite interesting, I hope you enjoy them all.

Was your internet out due to storms?

Internet outages are so frustrating! It has become such an integral part of our lives in such a short time. What a welcome home from your vacation!
Wishing you a good week and more time to read!
Angela (Angel's Guilty Pleasures)
That’s great you got to watch the Royals play. AYSO soccer has started in our area and my kid is playing, so we spent Saturday watching the game. ^_^ It’s nice to have something retiring, like school, soccer, and outdoor activities. Hope you have a great week!
Mareli @ Elza Reads
I am definitely saving the date for Fraterfest! Loved it last year and I think Stinkie would love to host it again.
Have a good week and take care of yourself!
Vi @Inkvotary
It is amazing how the loss of the internet, even if it is only for a few hours, is causing us stress and problems. But a few days without it and working from home is damn near impossible. Did the Royals win the soccer game? Have a great new week and happy reading.
Lisa Mandina
I’ve wondered about that book by Armstrong. Oh yeah, I had the two days without internet last month with some storms we had. It was not fun, so I get that1 Especially if you had the grandkids too! Hope this is a better week!
Victoria Hamel
No internet, ugh what a hassle! Glad it was restored and you were able to catch up! Have a great week!
Sophia Rose
Yikes! Losing internet for that long is definitely frustrating. Fun that you got to watch them playing soccer as well as polish off a longer audio. Yes, can’t believe it was the 20th anniversary for 9-11. The speeches and memorials were lovely. I got a Stitch in Time, too.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Lori Caswell
I totally get the stressers. This week will definitely be better.

Aw how annoying to not have the internet for almost three days! I find it bad enough when it just cuts out for a moment… usually when I am writing a new post and can’t save it! ? Glad it fine now and that the rest of your week was good.
Tessa
Nothing stresses me out more than when my technology acts up or when the internet goes out. Sad but true. Glad your week ended better than it began.
