Do you ever have a week where you felt like you were always catching up, behind and juggling way too many things? That was my week. Sure, I got it all done, but I didn’t seem to have any downtime to catch my breath. The knee is doing better, but the cane is my friend. I do fine at home, moving slowly and holding on to railings, but out and about that cane has saved me more than once. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

I hope your knee continues to get better each day. And I know exactly how you feel. I always feel like I’m behind. Have a wonderful week.

  2. Tyler H. Jolley

Yes! You just described my week! I haven’t done any reading/writing/editing/outlining in a week. I can’t remember the last time I went that long. Things are supposed to slow after tonight. Hope your week (and knee!) go back to normal.

  3. ShootingStarsMag

That’s great you have your cane to help when you’re out and about. I’d imagine it would be harder to get around outside the home. Hopefully this week will be a little less hectic. Those weeks are never fun!

  4. Jinjer

YES I can totally relate to that kind of week. Hope this wek goes better.

  5. Katherine

Hopefully this week is much calmer. Those busy weeks are always crazy but I’m glad you got everything you need needed to get done finished and that your knee is feeling better.

  6. Lorna

When I was younger and worked, I would get off work, go grocery shopping or visit my parents and then cook dinner. I rarely had time to do anything but fall in front of the tv or read. Now I waste more time and when I do have appointments or whatever it’s major for me. I end up exhausted. I’m sure you do way more than me! My cane is my lifesaver as well. I’m glad your leg is getting better. Are you going to PT? I’m dreading going. Take care.

I think I have too many weeks like that. I’m glad your knee is improving and that your being careful with your cane.
The new books series look good. Happy Reading!

Ah… those weeks are such a pain! I hope the coming one allows you to relax more and give that knee a bit more rest. And yes – I completely agree with you regarding the walking stick! Mine, right now, means I can get out with so much more confidence. Have a much better week, Kimberly:).

  9. Carla

I think we all have those weeks every now and then, nice that you were able to catch up. Glad the knee is doing better.

  10. Sophie

I hope that next week will be less full Kimberly and that you’ll have that time to breathe! Also let’s hope your knee gets better and better! Have a great Sunday!

  11. A Voracious Reader

YES! I’ve felt like that ever since we started building the garden shed. LOL I hope your knee mends quickly, but honestly? I’d keep the cane so I can whack people if needed. 😀
Thank you for featuring my post about Annette Marie! I love those books so much. I featured Dianne Duvall yesterday. 🙂

You have some reviews coming up this week that I’m looking forward to reading. Hope your knee continues to heal and that you can continue to get around.

  14. Lisa Mandina

Looks like you got some great books this week! Enjoy!

  15. Lola

That’s exactly how my week felt as well. Sorry to hear you had one of those weeks as well. That’s a shame you didn’t have much downtime. I am glad to hear your knee is doing okay and that the cane helps you. Have a great week!

  16. Sophia Rose

LOL, I didn’t have a whole week of it, thankfully, but the last few days have been bustling. Glad the cane helps you move about and the knee is getting better. Love seeing all the dragon books in your haul.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  17. jessicabookworm

I can totally sympathise, Kimberly, as I have been feeling like that for the past two weeks, hence my absence last weekend! I hope your knee will continue to get better and that we’ll both be able to get some time to rest! ???

  18. Juli @ A Universe in Words

I hope your knee gets better soon! One of my housemates has a sprained knee at the moment and it’s a slow process for her as well! I’m glad to be back on the Sunday Post train and I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

I’ve had many weeks like that. I don’t know about you- but they absolutely exhaust me. Will keep sending positive thoughts your way for the continued progress and healing of your knee. Maybe sometime soon the cane will be a thing of the past. Have a wonderful week!

  20. Siran

Last week in fact. I saw the test link from this week’s post.

  21. Laurel-Rain Snow

I am glad you can rely on that cane! I went through a short period of needing one, and I was grateful for it.

I hope your upcoming week is a good one.

  22. Greg

My week has been that way too. Way too much going on! I hope you’re feeling better, and thank goodness for the cane! I hope you have a nice weekend Kimba, and a less hectic week.

    Take care!
