Other than headaches and a sore arm, our second vaccination shots went well. We arrived in the Ozarks on Monday and the weather was perfect all week. The resort offers free golf cart rides around their grounds which was a blessing for me & my knee. While we didn’t get to enjoy some activities because of my injury, we had a blast hanging out by the lake & pool. We arrived home for Clayton’s second T-Ball game and spent the weekend unwinding from our adventure. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

Glad you had a wonderful trip!!
We are planning for a trip away as well now that all of us are fully vaccinated.. While the men in the family had minimal effects from the second dose, both me and my daughter had severe headaches and a mild fever (luckily, it only lasted one day)..

I’m glad your vaccine reaction wasn’t too bad. It’s been amazing how quick the reactions come and go. I felt like I got hit by a truck for 24 hours and then it was done. Also so glad you were able to enjoy your vacation and the golf cart rides sounds like a perfect compromise with your injury. I hope you have a great week!

That’s awesome you could use a golf cart to get around, and I’m sorry you couldn’t do some things with your knee -but just relaxing by the pool sounds so lovely right now! Glad it was a good trip.

So glad you enjoyed your week away. I want to take a look at the Bookstore & Bar series. 🙂
    Happy Reading!

I am glad you had a nice time in the Ozarks. It’s always nice to get away for a little while, isn’t it? I hope you are enjoying your reading. Have a great week, Kim!

Glad you enjoyed your time in the Ozarks! I kind of want to take a weekend to go back by myself without all my family so I can maybe get some writing done? I know that I live alone and that seems that I’d have so much free relaxing time. But it’s not the same as being away from home, you know? Hope you have a good week!

I’m looking forward to your review for The Audacity Of Sara Grayson By Joani Elliott, I really enjoyed that one. So glad to hear your vaccinations went well. Glad you had a good time on your trip to the Ozarks.

  8. Lola

I am glad to hear you didn’t have many side effects from the second shot. And it sounds like you had a lovely week away, that’s great they had goal carts you could use. I hope you’ll have a good week!

  9. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Glad the weather held for you and that you had a nice vacation! And also glad to hear your second vaccination went well. I was sick as a dog for the day afterwards.

Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

    Here’s my StS

Glad the second shot didn’t lay you out. I got the J&J single shot in March and was out for the count for a couple of days (but every weekend this year had me in bed exhausted so…). Glad you had a nice trip and happy reading!

It’s such a relief to have the vaccine, I think. The Ozarks are one of my favorite places. We have often visited the Hot Springs area to collect quartz.

I’m glad you are doing better and that the second shot wasn’t too bad. Sounds like you are having a great time. Enjoy the week ahead with great books and family time.

Glad you had a nice vacation! The pool sounds nice. It’s been hot here- summer is in full swing I guess!

    Hope you’re feeling better!
