So I have a torn meniscus. It’s a jagged tear with a flap that may prove an issue. For now, we are going the conservative route with anti-inflammatories, a brace and physical therapy. I am hoping to avoid surgery, so I’ll follow their recommendations. In the meantime our daughter had surgery Friday, so we have the Royals for a sleepover. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

So sorry to hear about your diagnosis. That can be a very pesky diagnosis to say the least. My nephew had that and has had surgery 3?times for it. He had it in the army and they botched it. I know other people as well. I hope you get some relief and it heals without surgery! I also hope your daughter is okay!

Sorry about your knee! I’ve known a few people who tore their meniscus. Some have avoided surgery and those that had it said it wasn’t a bad recovery. Hoping the best for you! Hope you had a great Memorial Day!

Oh boy, you poor thing! I hope you aren’t in too much pain and *fingers crossed* you can avoid surgery. I hope your daughter’s surgery went well!!!

torn meniscus and kids never go hand in hand. Hope they let you rest your injury ! Well, books will help

I hope the treatment helps. Enjoy the sleepover and the extra day off.

Sorry to hear about your injury. I hope that the treatments do the trick and you won’t have to have surgery.

A torn meniscus! No fun. I hope it will heal up with PT. Prayers for healing for you and your daughter.

I want to read your review of Legacy but I’m holding off because I haven’t had a chance to read it yet… I’m number 30 on the library hold list, so it will be a while LOL!

My goodness! Rest up my friend! You have had a rough couple of months…. I do hope you can avoid surgery.

Rest and Read that is the best medicine. Hope this week is relaxing for you! Happy Reading! xx

Ouch a torn meniscus sounds very painful. Hopefully the physical therapy, brace and anti inflammatories will be enough to resolve it, so you can avoid surgery. I hope you have a good week!

I’m sorry to hear about the miniscus tear. I hope the conservative route works for you. I had one about 15 years ago and had to do surgery – it was a super easy surgery and recovery (of course I was just 21 years old too, so that helped ?). Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery as well!!

You just can’t catch a break. I hope you heal up quickly so you can enjoy the summer months and the Royals. (((hugs)))

Oh, no! Hope you can avoid surgery. I’m thinking the audio is the way to go for Hail Mary. I need to see if my library’s overdrive has it. Happy reading!
