We’ve definitely needed the A/C at my house a few days as well. I’m excited that it’s May – it’s my birthday month, but it’s also when more things start to happen so hopefully I can enjoy the nicer weather and get out of the house a bit more.

  2. Tyler H. Jolley

Dang, Kimba! Sixteen books while you had covid? That’s amazing. I know how exhausting coronavirus is. You’re awesome. Hope you’re feeling better.

Thanks, Tyler. To be honest, most were audiobooks. We are/were doing better but still suffering from fatigue and shortness of breath that seemed to linger. Unfortunately, this week we both have sore throats and fever. I suspect it is laryngitis. Nevertheless, we shall persevere. LOL

  3. Dianthaa

Weather has been nice here, except today when all I had planned was to sit outside and blog, but it’s too windy for that. Slightly grump but hopefully lots of nice weather days from here on out.

  4. vidya

the weather has finally started warming up here as well; and hope you and your family are feeling all better now..

  5. MarthaE

Sounds like you are feeling better and your weather is getting nicer.
Lots of new books for you this week. I’ll be checking out the Darynda Jones title and Goblin looks interesting too.
    Happy Reading!

  6. Jen

I hope you and the family are feeling better! Yay for warmer weather!

  7. Mareli @ Elza Reads

Hi Kimberly! Time sure does fly. I can’t believe it’s May already. Although, April did feel a bit long.

You had an excellent reading month! May you have such a wonderful month of May!

    Take care.

The weather has been lovely here as well. (Mostly, anyway. We did have one cool and rainy day.) My allergies are reacting to the pollen, but my eyes are feasting on all the flowers, including my azaleas, which are gorgeous this year. (Needing pruning, but gorgeous.)

Sounds like you are doing well on your challenges! And hopefully feeling better?

I can’t believe it is May either. I also go The Gravedigger’s Son and Death at the Crystal Palace. I’m also reviewing Cursed Luck this Thursday and Robin is reviewing Angels on the Overpass the the next week. I’m loving the weather and I hope you are feeling better.

We needed to run the A/C too this last week as we had weather in the upper 90s! Summer is starting too soon. It’s a little cooler this week with temps in the 80s. I need to grab up a copy of Catherine Anderson’s newest.

You’re doing great with your challenges! Hope we both love it, Kimberly! Have a lovely week!

  11. Sophia Rose

Glad you had a lovely week weather-wise and that your month of reading and challenges are well ahead. Our weather was mostly chilly, but today is gorgeous and I’m doing pretty good on my challenges, too.
I got a couple of those for review, too.

    Have a great week, Kimberly!

  12. Maya @herbookishdesires

Wow you are a reading machine! It is amazing. The past couple of days have been really nice in terms of the weather. I am soaking it in before it gets all hot and humid ?

  13. Lola

I am glad to hear you had a good week weather wise, here the week started with sunny weather, but now it’s colder and windy again. Sounds like you’re doing well for your challenged too. I hope you’ll have a good week!

  14. Sophie

I am so happy to see that you have only good news this week. Well even if you sound English talking about the weather but… 😉 Kidding! Have a great Sunday Kimberly!

  15. Jen at Introverted Reader

I’ll be curious to see what you think of Goblin. I didn’t know Malerman was coming out with a new book.

Enjoy your week! I hope you’re feeling better!

  16. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Our weather has been pretty nice too! The AC clicked on a few times throughout the week as well. My fan goes back and forth between high and medium, lol. So it hasn’t been too bad this way either.

Nice new reads! I still need to read Darynda’s novella series! Trying to remember now if I bought the first one as an ebook or not. I think I did…maybe. Lol.

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

It is hard to believe it’s May already! Everything is green here now and the pollen is awful. Ugh. I hope you have a great week, Kim!

  18. Lorna

Glad your having good weather for a change. We are too but with rain and wind here and there. As soon as I saw Angel of the Overpass I knew it was going to be that old story that I’ve heard about since I was young. Only with a new spin. I may have to get that one but I’ll wait for your review. I’m glad you are feeling better!

  19. stargazer

Very impressive to have read 16 books during one month. No need for A/C here, still wearing a warm coat. But it least it has been sunny!

  20. M. Ravenel

Congrats on your Goodreads Challenge progress! I can’t believe it’s May, either! This year is going by way too fast. It’s been hot here, too. Summer is definitely on its way. Hope you have a good week.

I think I’m jinxed! Every time I had a day off it rained, and when I had to work, the weather was gorgeous. LOL Have a wonderful week, Kimberly.

  22. Katherine

Great job on your challenges and sounds like you’ve had some gorgeous weather! How did I miss the new Jennifer Ashley??? Off to go hunt down a copy! Have a great week!

  23. Literary Feline

We ended up having to turn on the AC a couple days this week too. Sounds like you are doing great on your challenges. I hope you have a great week!

Sorry for the double links! The first one came out wrong. 🙁

  24. Greg

May snuck up on me too! Yikes. 16 books is awesome. Hope you guys are feeling much better…

    Happy Sunday 🙂
