I’m looking forward to Goblin! Sounds creepy good.
ShootingStarsMag
We’ve definitely needed the A/C at my house a few days as well. I’m excited that it’s May – it’s my birthday month, but it’s also when more things start to happen so hopefully I can enjoy the nicer weather and get out of the house a bit more.
Tyler H. Jolley
Dang, Kimba! Sixteen books while you had covid? That’s amazing. I know how exhausting coronavirus is. You’re awesome. Hope you’re feeling better.
Kimberly
Thanks, Tyler. To be honest, most were audiobooks. We are/were doing better but still suffering from fatigue and shortness of breath that seemed to linger. Unfortunately, this week we both have sore throats and fever. I suspect it is laryngitis. Nevertheless, we shall persevere. LOL
Dianthaa
Weather has been nice here, except today when all I had planned was to sit outside and blog, but it’s too windy for that. Slightly grump but hopefully lots of nice weather days from here on out.
vidya
the weather has finally started warming up here as well; and hope you and your family are feeling all better now..
MarthaE
Sounds like you are feeling better and your weather is getting nicer.
Lots of new books for you this week. I’ll be checking out the Darynda Jones title and Goblin looks interesting too.
Happy Reading!
Jen
I hope you and the family are feeling better! Yay for warmer weather!
Jan @ Notes from a Readerholic
It is hard to believe May has arrived, Kimberly! I hope you enjoy nice weather and some good reading this next week.
Mary Kirkland
My goodreads challenge is 60/200. You’re doing great. We’ve had to use the AC several days when the heat spiked to 90F.
Mareli @ Elza Reads
Hi Kimberly! Time sure does fly. I can’t believe it’s May already. Although, April did feel a bit long.
You had an excellent reading month! May you have such a wonderful month of May!
Take care.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
The weather has been lovely here as well. (Mostly, anyway. We did have one cool and rainy day.) My allergies are reacting to the pollen, but my eyes are feasting on all the flowers, including my azaleas, which are gorgeous this year. (Needing pruning, but gorgeous.)
Sounds like you are doing well on your challenges! And hopefully feeling better?
Anne - Books of My Heart
I can’t believe it is May either. I also go The Gravedigger’s Son and Death at the Crystal Palace. I’m also reviewing Cursed Luck this Thursday and Robin is reviewing Angels on the Overpass the the next week. I’m loving the weather and I hope you are feeling better.
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Some strangeness is afoot… I swear, I commented on your post already but I can’t find it. Maybe I just commented in my head but didn’t actually write it? I’ve done weirder stuff lately, lol.
Anyway, you’re doing great with your challenges! How are you feeling after covid? I hope you’re doing much better now. Take care!
Vi @Inkvotary
April was the coldest month in decades here and we all are looking for some warmer temperatures. Hope you all are well by now. Happy reading.
Lori Caswell
I am loving this weather too! No AC yet, but I am going to get out a fan 🙂
Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Great job on your challenges!
Rachel
We needed to run the A/C too this last week as we had weather in the upper 90s! Summer is starting too soon. It’s a little cooler this week with temps in the 80s. I need to grab up a copy of Catherine Anderson’s newest.
You’re doing great with your challenges! Hope we both love it, Kimberly! Have a lovely week!
I'm All Booked Up
The weather has been wonderful recently. Perfect for reading outside!
Victoria A Hamel
Productive even while having covid. You are amazing! Hopefully May will be filled with lots of fun in the sun and great reads. The new arrival books look good!!!
Sophia Rose
Glad you had a lovely week weather-wise and that your month of reading and challenges are well ahead. Our weather was mostly chilly, but today is gorgeous and I’m doing pretty good on my challenges, too.
I got a couple of those for review, too.
Have a great week, Kimberly!
Maya @herbookishdesires
Wow you are a reading machine! It is amazing. The past couple of days have been really nice in terms of the weather. I am soaking it in before it gets all hot and humid ?
Samantha
The weather was nice here as well. A welcome change after the snow of the week before!
Lola
I am glad to hear you had a good week weather wise, here the week started with sunny weather, but now it’s colder and windy again. Sounds like you’re doing well for your challenged too. I hope you’ll have a good week!
Penelope @ The Reading Devil
Crazy how quickly these months seem to be flying by! And yet they feel so long when I’m in them lol! Enjoy your new arrivals! They look fantastic!
Sophie
I am so happy to see that you have only good news this week. Well even if you sound English talking about the weather but… 😉 Kidding! Have a great Sunday Kimberly!
Kimberly
Bwahaha, My mother’s side is English so it’s all good.
S. J. Pajonas
We had to turn on the a/c too a few days! Totally wild. But now it’s gone back into the 50s and 60s.
Jen at Introverted Reader
I’ll be curious to see what you think of Goblin. I didn’t know Malerman was coming out with a new book.
Enjoy your week! I hope you’re feeling better!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Our weather has been pretty nice too! The AC clicked on a few times throughout the week as well. My fan goes back and forth between high and medium, lol. So it hasn’t been too bad this way either.
Nice new reads! I still need to read Darynda’s novella series! Trying to remember now if I bought the first one as an ebook or not. I think I did…maybe. Lol.
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

May arrived so quickly. Enjoy your books, the Jennifer Ashley looks especially good!
Tessa
Looks like you had a good reading month. Enjoy the nicer weather! I know I am ❤️
A Voracious Reader
It is hard to believe it’s May already! Everything is green here now and the pollen is awful. Ugh. I hope you have a great week, Kim!
Lorna
Glad your having good weather for a change. We are too but with rain and wind here and there. As soon as I saw Angel of the Overpass I knew it was going to be that old story that I’ve heard about since I was young. Only with a new spin. I may have to get that one but I’ll wait for your review. I’m glad you are feeling better!
Gayathri
That is a great job on your reading challenges. And I am pleased that you have a pleasant weather! Stay cheerful and safe!
stargazer
Very impressive to have read 16 books during one month. No need for A/C here, still wearing a warm coat. But it least it has been sunny!
Heather @ Random Redheaded Ramblings
I can’t believe it’s May either! It’ll soon be Christmas!!
Flora
Our weather has been really mixed. But that’s April here in the UK. Lol!
Hope you have a great week, Kimberly.
jessicabookworm
Well done on so much reading and audio listening, Kimberly! Take care and more happy reading in May! ?
Maureen @ Maureen's Books
Crazy that it’s May already right? I can’t get my head around it. Time seems to fly by so fast.
That’s an impressive progress on your Goodreads challenge. I’m 39 books in so far.
Have a great week and happy reading.
M. Ravenel
Congrats on your Goodreads Challenge progress! I can’t believe it’s May, either! This year is going by way too fast. It’s been hot here, too. Summer is definitely on its way. Hope you have a good week.
Silvia
Lots of rainy days here 🙁 but I’m glad you are having better luck with the weather! Cheers to sunny days and great reads 😀
Laura Thomas
I think I’m jinxed! Every time I had a day off it rained, and when I had to work, the weather was gorgeous. LOL Have a wonderful week, Kimberly.
Katherine
Great job on your challenges and sounds like you’ve had some gorgeous weather! How did I miss the new Jennifer Ashley??? Off to go hunt down a copy! Have a great week!
