  4. Jen at Introverted Reader

I haven’t read anything by Ilona Andrews but she’s an author I see everywhere. I should pick up one of her books some time.

I hope your blues go away as the weather warms.

    Enjoy your week!

Great job on February reading! Sorry you’ve been feeling a bit blue. I think we all need some warmer, nicer weather to help get us out of these winter funks.

Hope nicer weather brightens up moods too…
The Paris Library is one book I am looking forward to reading

  7. Lisa Mandina

I’m so far behind on Stephen King books! The nice weather helps I think with getting our moods back up. Only this year instead of looking forward to no school, we’ve had remote learning and are getting ready to gear back up for kids in school, so it’s like a couple months of madness before summer. Although I am ready to get things back to normal at work. Except for the getting up so early part. lol.

  8. Sophia Rose

Yes, hope spring weather will cheer the blues and glad you had a good week with the grandkiddies. Nice haul! I need to start that Rachel Caine series soon.

    Have a good week,Kimberly!

  9. Anne - Books of My Heart

I get it. I’m feeling blue because of all the things I still can’t do because pain. But at least I have great books to distract me. This week will be a bit warmer here (55-60) and finally sunny! I hope it’s better there and you enjoy some great reads! You have a sweet baby to love.

Aaaaah the new Stephen King! Can’t wait!! But I’m a year or so behind on Stephen King. Need to make a plan!

You had a good reading month in Feb, mine was horrible and the first part of March is not going to be much better.

Take care of yourself and have a good week!

I need the warm-up of the weather too. I get excited each day the sun is shining and the dreary clouds are absent.

I hope you have a good week.

  13. Sophie

18 books???? I just fell from my chair! And I hope that your mood will go from blue to pink or bright yellow Kimberly! Have a great week.

i understand your mood…i am having a hard time concentrating on anything. i find my mind wandering, thinking…this would be a good day for the beach and then…oh…#1 it’s covid, even though i have received both doses of the vaccine it doesn’t change my actions and #2 the damn bridge is gone from the hurricane last year and it’s an hour drive one way. i miss the sand beneath my toes and the salty mist from the gulf.

  15. Penelope @ The Reading Devil

Oh I’m excited for the new Stephen King book – I hope you enjoy it!
Winter does tend to be the most depressing season – but as it gets warmer it helps get your spirits up 🙂 I hope you start to feel better!

  16. Michelle

The end of the winter always tends to be a bit depressing because you are waiting on the spring. It will be here soon! Just have to get through that last winter burst. Hang in there things will get better soon! HUGS

Hope this week is awesome for you Kim! Happy Reading!

  17. Jan @ Notes from a Readerholic

I hope you feel better as the weather warms up, Kimberly. We’re supposed to have a day in the low 70’s next week plus our snow is almost gone! You did great with all your reading in February and I hope you have some really good books lined up for March.

Hope you have a good week!

I feel like I’ve been living under a rock. I know I’m not Stephen King fan but why am I just finding out about his new book? haha. I hope you feel better this week, Kimberly!

  19. Lola

I hope you’re feeling better soon and that the weather warms up a bit soon. Here we suddenly had a colder week just as I was thinking we were getting spring weather. I hope you’ll have a good week!

  20. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

I understand about feeling blue. I am like a yo-yo, hopeful and then hopes dashed.

  21. Emma @ Words And Peace

The sun is at the end of the tunnel! I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone, but my mood can be very much influenced by the novels I read, so would something positive and cheerful help?

  22. Mar @ BOOKIVERSE

18 books! it never ceases to amaze me what a productive reader you are! even when you are feeling a little blue. Hope you feel better soon

  23. A Voracious Reader

Congrats! That’s way more than I managed to read. lol Also, I seriously need to get my new headphones synced to my Fire so I can listen to audios. So much to do. *sigh* I hope this week is less busy and more warm. Er, warmer. 😀

  24. Tressa @ Wishful Endings

Sorry you’re feeling down. I’ve been dealing with some exhaustion and haven’t figured out where it’s coming from. Makes life a bit of a challenge. I hope this week goes better for both of us!

  25. Rachel

I just finished An Unexpected Peril yesterday and enjoyed it. I’ll come visit your review once I’ve posted mine. I have an e-copy and audio of Blood Heir, I just need to make time to read it!

Sorry to hear you’re feeling blue, Kimberly. Hope the nicer weather perks your mood up!

  26. Yvonne

Sounds like February was a good reading month for you. I’m finally getting hooked on audio books. It’s so relaxing to me to listen while I go for a walk everyday.

That Stephen King book looks really good. I’ll have to check it out.

I hope things are better for you this week. Hugs. Take care and stay safe.

With all the snow and greyness you’ve had in addition to being sick I’m not surprised you’re feeling blue. Hopefully you’ll have lots of sunshine this week! February was a tough month and I’m glad to see the end of it. I have high hopes for March and I hope you have a wonderful week!

  28. Laurel-Rain Snow

So sorry you are blue. I have been struggling with Pandemic Fatigue, since it has been ONE year now that I have been virtually locked down! I need to escape!

But until then, I am loving books and movies. Have a great week.

  29. Greg

I’m glad it’s March. February was getting me down a bit too and with spring closer I’m hoping to be more upbeat!

Creatures of PAssage looks wild- I need to check that out.

    Be well this week Kimba!
