Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.  See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

What a week! It began with a toothache on a tooth with no signs of decay, followed by sick Royals with strep and croup, a delivery with some scary complications, a root canal, and a beautiful new granddaughter. It was a crazy, scary, exciting and emotional week. While exhausted, we are feeling truly blessed. You can find photos of Hazel Vivian on my Instagram page. Be safe, be kind, and Stay Caffeinated.

Sounds like an absolutely crazy week but I’m so glad everything is okay. I love her name. Hazel is so beautiful and classic and pairs so well with Vivian! Hope you’re having a lovely week.

Oh my goodness me! WHAT a week… Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of little Hazel Vivian – she looks adorable. And huge commiserations on the dental work – root canal fillings are NOT welcome at any time. I hope the other Royals are now on the road to recovery. Have a less eventful and more peaceful week, Kimberly!

  3. MarthaE

Hazel is a pretty name. Congratulations. Glad they came through the complications okay.
Sorry the others have strep and croup. Hope they feel better quickly.
I hope your tooth is better. (My granddaughter had a root canal last week too.)
I hope this week will be calmer as you continue to enjoy your reading and stay safe.

  4. Sophia Rose

Yeah, that describes one roller-coaster of a week. Yay for the newest princess but sad her cousins had a dreary week. Sounds like you are hanging in there. 🙂

Have a good- and uneventful- next week, Kimberly!

  5. Lorna

Wow I didn’t know about the complications but now that I think about it, that explains the C-section. I’m glad all is better. Maybe you can relax into the holiday season. Stay safe.

I hope your tooth is feeling better – and hopefully the kiddoes are doing well too. Congrats to the newest member of your family. She has such a beautiful name.

Its actually pretty crazy how those dental issues come into play. Hope you heal and get to feeling better soon. Love seeing Alyssa Cole as one of your audio additions—I had a fun time with that book. Happy Reading darling.

I went on your IG (I don’t know how I didn’t follow you yet) and my god Kimberly! She is tiny but so cute!!!! Sorry for all the stress but it seems that everything ends well so there is that. I hope next week will bring you only fun!

  9. Lola

Sounds like a crazy week for sure. Congrats on your new granddaughter!

I look forward to joining the audio challenge again next year. I’ll have to count my listens to see if I made this year’s goal 🙂

Hi Kimberley! I saw the pictures on your Instagram page of your beautiful new granddaughter. What a blessing! She is gorgeous and I can see Granny couldn’t be prouder.

Enjoy her. Have a wonderful week and I will keep an eye out for the Audiobook signup.

Sounds like you have a very eventful week, but glad things went well especially with the baby’s arrival even though it was complicated. Baby Hazel is so adorable!

  12. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh wow. I didn’t realize so much other chaos was going on this week for you! That’s insane! I hope this week will be kinder for you guys! Hazel is adorable!!

The most perfect face on your new grandbaby! So cute! Is she a sister to the Royals or another child of yours? Anyway God bless you in this crazy, exhausting time! If the doc couldn’t find anything with your tooth, consider it might be TMJ, one of the “lovely” side affects of my various medical conditions. The pressure could make a tooth feel achy.

So, I don’t have any bookish things to share right now as I step in and out of the blogosphere but I wanted to congratulate you on the baby. And Hazel, a sweet old-school name <3 Rita

Hazel is a cousin to the Royals, and my oldest daughter’s first child. The Royals come from my youngest daughter. 🙂

Hope everyone is feeling better, and congratulations on your newest addition. Saw the pictures on Instagram – perfection!

  15. Iza

Congratulations on your granddaughter, and to the happy parents too ! I saw her picture on Twitter, she’s beautiful and has a lovely name 🙂 I’m sorry about your teeth, though, what a pain. I hope your week to come will be zen, peaceful and happy *hugs*

  16. Rachel

Glad to hear everything ended well with the birth of your granddaughter! Sounds like some emotional ups and downs! Ah! A toothache, strep, and croup on top of everything else?! Eeeeek!

I plan on signing up for the new audio book challenge, but I’m still trying to meet this years goal! Might be working at it until the end of the year. 🙂

  17. Laurel-Rain Snow

Congrats on the newest grandchild! Enjoy, and you have some great books to read, too. I am eyeing The Wrong Family, and have pre-ordered it.

    Have a great week!

  18. Greg

Congratulations on the newest member of the fam! How awesome!! Sorry to hear about the other stuff though- toothaches, root canals, complications- yikes. Hope everyone is feeling better and doing well now. Take care and rest up Kimba!!
