The FraterfestRAT wrapped up at midnight and I managed to read/listen to 10 books. I hope a fun time was had by all. I reached my Goodreads challenge goal of 200/200 and I surpassed my Audiobook Challenge goal of 119/110. We dropped off our ballots this week, and they were accepted. Snow is in the forecast for today and tomorrow. Yikes. Be kind, stay safe and Stay Caffeinated.

I will be interested to hear what you think of the Matthew McConaughey book.

  2. Tyler H. Jolley

Dang, Kimba! Is this the earliest in the year that you’ve met your goals? You’re crushing it. I’m super behind on everything–as you can tell by me commenting on a Sunday post on a Wednesday.

  3. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

Snow! Oh, how I’d love some snow… We haven’t had any since Feb 2019! *cries*

I finished Fraterfest with only two books but I’m happy. 🙂 My reading challenges are pretty unsalvagable at this point, I think, but that’s okay… This year, it is what it is. Congrats on finishing yours!

  4. Dianthaa

Good job on meeting your Fraterfest and Goodreads goals!
I managed to fail upwards in my GR challenge, I was planning to read a bit less and focus on other hobbies this year, but instead, I kept having to up my target to keep up with my reading.

  5. vidya

so cool on your challenges!! i am not sure where i am on any of the challenges i started this year (stopped tracking but am sure i must be almost done..)
and we are dropping off our ballots tomorrow

  6. Katherine

Great job with the 10 books! I loved The Christmas Table. It’s a tad overly sweet but it was just what I wanted right then! Have a great week!

  7. MarthaE

You did great for Fraterfest. I finished 6 books. I want to check out your post links to Christmas books and horror books. I saw Greenlights this week and it looks interesting.
We were cold in Denver and Boulder last weekend but I sure am glad it didn’t snow.
Continue to stay safe and Happy Reading!

  8. Mareli @ Elza Reads

Hi Kimberley! Aaah you did well with Fraterfest! I didn’t manage as much as I hoped. But will try again! I see you have a Christmas Readathon coming up, but the dates are going to be a bit hectic for me. Will have to look for one in December!

Once again, thanks for hosting the Fraterfest! I had a lot of fun.

Hope you will have a wonderful week.

Congratulations on meeting or exceeding your goals! It’s hard to even think about Christmas books right now, but it is getting to be that season, isn’t it?

    Enjoy your week!

  10. Lover of Romance

Good for you dropping off your ballots…I am doing mine this week. We are getting snowflakes this morning and I am not happy. I want fall to last a bit longer. It never lasts long enough. LOL Hope you are well and thriving despite everything.

    Happy Reading.

  11. A Voracious Reader

Congrats on reaching your goals!! I lowered my number to 100 and I’m almost there. That is unheard of for me. I hate 2020 in so many ways. Snow?! Yikes! We’re getting rain today, but it’s not even close to freezing for which I am thankful. I hope you have a great snow-free week, Kim!

  12. Lola

Congrats on reaching your Goodreads and audiobook challenge goals! I passed my Goodreads one a while ago. Nice haul you got this week. I am curious about Cemetery Boys, it sounds good. I hope you’ll have a great week!

  13. Sophie

Well Kimberly you killed these goals! Congrats! And I am crossing my fingers for my US friends and the incoming elections.

  14. Mary DeSantis

Snow!? Yikes! Although, there may be snow forecasted here too that I’ve just ignored/blocked out. Have a great week and stay safe!

  15. Gayathri

The weather is cooler here too. I can’t wait for the actual winter, even though we will never be getting a snow. Woohoo on getting your goals met!

  16. Sophia Rose

Woohoo for hitting Fraterfest and Goodreads goals! I met my Fraterfest goal and am really close on my GR one. Glad you got your vote in. We’re going on voting day. Brr, to snow, but we’re cold enough for it so I wouldn’t be surprised.
I almost snagged that Matthew Mc memoir, but too swamped for more right now. I’ll look forward to your thoughts.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  17. Tressa @ Wishful Endings

We’ve still need to mail in or drop off our ballets. We’re running out of time. We have a drop in temps this week down about 30 degrees, which is crazy, but it’s been very unseasonably warm, so I’m looking forward to the low 70s to 80s. I hope this week goes well for you!

Hi Kim, it’s been a very long time since I’ve been here for the last time. I used to be “The e-reader junkie”, my former blog that I deleted, but now that I’ve opened up another that I managed to keep for several months, I’m back 🙂 I see there are still some familiar names that I’m happy to see, but also new ones that I’ll be glad to discover. You did a really good job with your goals, I’m impressed ! Enjoy the snow and you and your family stay safe – the situation’s not great here in France either :-*

  19. Chloe Thomas

Wow congrats on reaching you book and audiobook goals, that’s amazing!! There’s nothing quite like that feeling of accomplishment of reaching goals you’ve set for yourself IMO.

Cemetery boys is a book I’ve heard quite a bit of hype about on the book community and something I’d like to get my hands on, hope you enjoy it.
Have a lovely week, Stay Safe x

  20. jessicabookworm

Congratulations are reaching your reading goal and smashing your audiobook goal, Kimberly! If you get snowed in you’ll have even more time for reading! Take care and happy reading! ??⛄

  21. Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms

YAY for reaching your goals! Way to go, Kimberly 🙂
Yikes for snow already, though. We have actually had a few nice fall days and it’s so nice to see the sun after all the rain and fog we’ve had.
Have a wonderful week ahead – stay safe and healthy. *hugs*

  22. Maureen @ Maureen’s Books

OMG.. 200 books? That’s amazing Kimberly!
And I see you got the new Jennifer Armentrout book. I can’t wait to read what you think. It’s another great one ?
    Stay safe and happy reading.

  23. Greg

10 books is awesome! Glad it went well. 🙂

We’ve had some of the white stuff here too in northern parts of the state. Ack!!!

Take care and be well. Looking forward to the HoHoho!!
