Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.  See rules here: Sunday Post Meme

I was a bit MIA this week. I was behind on writing reviews and had tons of work projects. I visited blogs on Thursday, but not nearly as many posts as I’d like. They installed our doors on Thursday after canceling at the last minute Monday. You can see pictures here: Instagram.

We have the Royals all weekend. Saturday we went to Indian Cave National Park and oh boy was it hot! Today we are going to the zoo. It is members only by reservations and a new exhibit opened. Be safe, be kind, and register to vote! Stay Caffeinated.

I did see your doors on IG. Really nice! I’ve places that I would loved having them. Sorry so late in commenting but I did keep it in my email so I could comment.

  2. Tyler H. Jolley

The doors look awesome! We had a great extra long weekend. It was hot and now it’s so cold! The weather in Colorado has been insane over the last 48 hours. I hope you guys don’t get hit with the cold too!

We have not gotten above 48 the past two days. We’ve had rain, hail, thunder and yuck. Hard to believe it was 104 at the Zoo on Sunday.

  3. Carole @ Carole's Random Life in Books

I love the doors! I am wanting to replace the sliders here with ones that have the blinds inside like you picked. I tried to comment on your Instagram post but I am apparently blocked from the site. Sounds like a busy weekend with the little ones. Have a great week!

I have no idea. I have been too busy to really use the app much over the summer so I was surprised to find that I can no longer like anything, comment, or follow anyone new. I can message people and comment on stories. When I post a photo the text with it does not post, only the photo. I can’t even find an email to get someone to help me straighten out my account.

Sometimes it seems like there is so much going on, that it’s better to unplug and focus on other stuff.(lol) Glad your doors were installed, and that’s one less thing off your plate. Hang in there! Hugs, RO

Great week Kimberly. I love having The Littles over. They were over for a sleepover this weekend. Your doors look amazing! I want sliders when I build my new place. I have already started my Christmas reading, so look forward to the Ho Ho Ho Readathon.

  6. ShootingStarsMag

I hope you have a lovely Labor Day weekend. I’ve been trying to spend time outside when I can. I had an outdoor movie night at my brother’s house on Saturday and that was fun!

I have been quite MIA myself too. Not because I don’t want to read everyone’s posts but just because work is high right now and I divide my free time between the blog and IG…
Have fun today at the zoo Kimberly!

  8. Sophia Rose

Yay for your doors being in, but bummer about the continued pain in the arm. Sounds like a busy week getting caught up on reviews and work. Glad you had some fun with the grandkids even if it was hot.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  9. Lover of Romance

I am all ready and registered to vote. 🙂 such a privilege we have in that.

Congrats on the doors, they are just LOVELY!

Hope you have a fun relaxing time at the Zoo.

  10. Lola

That’s great your new doors are there and sounds like you had fun with the royals. I hope you have a good time at the zoo. Have a great week!

  11. Corina

Hello, and thank you for hosting this wonderful opportunity!! It’s my first Sunday Post and it’s such a great idea!!

  12. Marsha @ Keeper Bookshelf

Sounds like you’ve had a fun and busy week.

At my house, we’ve settled into the ‘quarantine bubble’ but we did get some encouraging, even exciting news as my son begins a new medicine to hopefully help with his Spinal Muscular Atrophy… one liquid dose a day is far better than a 9-inch needle in the spine every 3 months! Beyond that just reading and surviving. 🙂

  13. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Sounds like a fun weekend! We got a bit of a break from the heat at the start of the weekend but now it’s back. We did take full advantage of the weather Friday, so that was nice!

Nice new reads too! I still need to read Jennifer’s new book but from what I’ve heard, I might be better off binging it! Which sounds about right with her books! LoL!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

I still have something like 10 or so reviews to write. Eeeee! It was hot here until yesterday. We’ve suddenly hit the cooler 80s AND it’s 57º this morning! Nice! Have fun at the zoo!

  15. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

We are beginning to despair that this will go on and on (it already has, hasn’t it?) But masking and socially distancing has made a huge difference here. Let’s hope everyone continues to do that on Labor Day.

I have also been MIA this week, Kimberly, as I returned to work and found myself so tired in the evenings! Hopefully will be better in the coming week, as I get back into the routine. Glad to hear you got your new doors installed and I hope you enjoy your time with your family. Take care and happy reading! ?

I saw your new doors.. they look great! And I’m so excited you got the audiobook of From Blood and Ash. I just finished reading book two and it’s definitely one of my favorite series!
Have a great week and happy reading.

Have fun with the Royals and stay safe for the holiday weekend.

Your books look good, especially When No One Is Watching. I am eager to spend the weekend reading.

  19. Gayathri

I loved the new doors. I hope you had fun at the national park and I like the fact that they work on reservation basis.
