When all the audiobooks arrive at once.? This happens with my library holds too! Yikes. Look for lots of fun reviews in September. I took a fall and sustained some bruising and pulled ligaments. So I am taking it easy this weekend. Stay Caffeinated.

I missed this post last week. It looks like you have some great books coming up. Sorry about your fall. Pulled ligaments can really hurt and take a while to heal. Glad you are taking it easy.

  2. Lorna

I’m sorry you fell. I seem to fall or almost fall a lot these days. It’s scary isn’t it? Hope you heal well fast!
I just started listening to A Guy Walks into my Bar tonight. I’m not sure about what I think and will be interested In what you think. I’m only 17% in.

  3. Tyler H. Jolley

Hey Kimba! So sorry to hear about your fall. Glad you have some audio books to keep you busy while you heal. This was a crazy and long weekend for me. Took the eldest to college. I can’t believe it! Be well!

  4. S. J. Pajonas

Oh no! I hope you’re okay. I once fell really bad the evidence of it did not come to the surface for a few days after. So definitely take it easy! I also suddenly have a new crop of books to read and listen to. Maybe I should stop opening my Freebooksy email every day. Lol.

Sorry to hear about your fall, hope you feel better. Looks like you have lots of good reads to keep you occupied.

Oh my, I get that beating heart thing going when review book arrivals clump up like that. Steady on! Ouch and wishing you back on your two feet soon.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  8. Sophie

Oh no Kimberly! I am sorry you fell and hurt yourself! I hope you are not in too much pain and that you’ll heal soon!

  9. Rachel

Oh bummer with the fall! Pulled muscles and ligaments can take a while to heal so I’m happy to hear you’re taking it easy.

It does seem like my library audios come all at once too! Lol! I have a few I need to get through before they expire. House on the Harbor looks like a promising read. I haven’t heard of that author though.

Looks like an awesome haul of audiobooks. I hop you’ll enjoy those Annette Marie audios. I already read those in ebook format. Happy reading and hopefully you have a good week!

  11. A Voracious Reader

Oh noes! {{{posivibes}}} for quick healing. That’s a lot of audios! I picked up Warping Minds from KU but haven’t gotten to it yet. I love her other connected series!

Sorry to hear of your fall and I hope your bruising isn’t too painful. We swear by Arnica cream in our household… I hope you are able to put your feet up and starting listening to all those books!

  13. Laurel-Rain Snow

I am late to the party! Enjoy those books. I like the look of Grown Ups.

A fall takes a while to heal! Take it easy.

If I have to many things on hold that usually happens with the library for me too or Netgalley if I request to many…lol.

Ouch, rest up and I hope you feel better tomorrow!

Have a great week and happy reading!

Sorry to hear about the fall! Pulled ligaments sounds painful. I hope you heal quickly. A Guy Walks Into a Bar is already on my radar. Shane East and Joe Arden together sounds like narration gold. 🙂

I hope you’ll heal quickly, Kim.
Isn’t it weird how sometimes all the books / audios arrive at the same time? It’s both awesome and not awesome at the same time.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy listening.

  17. Tressa @ Wishful Endings

That is quite a stack! The same thing happens to me at the library and then I can never get through them all – if only they’d stretch them out. 🙂 I’m so sorry about your fall! It’s a pain to get older, as I can relate to. Even though we’re not old. I hope you get some good healing in this week.

I love it when I receive everything together. Sure it is overwhelming but I feel like it is Christmas morning. I am sorry about the fall. I hope you get better soon.

Oh no- sorry to hear about the fall Kimba! Hope you’re feeling better soon. And yay for lots of new arrivals! I heard Ink & Sigil was pretty good…
