Today marks the nine-year anniversary of Caffeinated Reviewer. The blog had humble begins on Blogger and was originally titled Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer, which was then shortened to Caffeinated Book Reviewer and ultimately came to be Caffeinated Reviewer after listening to audiobooks became an addiction equal to reading books.

I’ve seen blogs come and go, witnessed scandals, observed drama and made lifelong friends in the blogosphere.

I’ve learned html, navigated plugins, and social media platforms. I’ve hosted events, attended conferences, led classes and host challenges, read-a-thons, a weekly memes and have watched my review format change and evolve.

Since I started in August 2011, I have reviewed 2,450 books/audios and received over 100,000 comments here at Caffeinated.

Readers like you keep me connected and encourage me to continue. Thank you to all those who follow, uplift and support the Caffeinated Reviewer. You’ve kept me posting, made me laugh and introduced me to new authors, books and narrators.

The book blogging community is diverse, kind-spirited and supportive. I’ve made lifelong friends and wouldn’t have discovered the new authors, books and narrators that adorn my shelves without the work that they do. You are the pulse of the book world. I am privileged to count Caffeinated Reviewer among your ranks.

    Congratulations, on 9 years of blogging, Kimberly! It’s been a while for me, too (8 years) and it’s interesting how things change. Yes, I’ve seen scandals over the year, most of which I tune out and ignore now, but for the most part blogging has been a wonderfully positive experience! Part of which includes “meeting” you! Here’s to many more years to come! 🙂

    Congrats Kimba! I can’t believe it’s been 9 years! It almost feels longer. When you’ve been blogging this long it’s always hard to remember how we all found each other. I’m trying to remember how I came across your blog and kept following all these years! I keep thinking I need to do something to teach myself more about websites and such, but when I think about it, I pick up a book and start reading instead! Lol.
