Another hard week. My walking is going good despite the 90° weather. The week ahead will be stressful but isn’t my story to tell. However I would appreciate your thoughts and prayers to see me through it. In May I read/listened to 22 books. I’ve surpassed the 50% mark on my Goodreads goal and sit at 107/200. Audio Challenge 59/100. Be Kind and Stay Caffeinated.

I hope you find calm and peace during the stress. I’m glad your reading is going well. I am running a book behind after listening to a couple of longer audios last month.
    Enjoy your reading!

  5. Laura @ Library of Clean Reads

I see you got The Jane Austen Society. I’ve been seeing it all over the place. I hope you enjoy your new books and that whatever you are going through, you do so with your chin up. HUGS!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having some trying times, Kimberly. Sending positive thoughts and virtual hugs out your way. Good to hear you’re keeping up with your walking despite that! Getting out and exercising is a big stress reliever for me and I hope it helps you, too!

I keep forgetting to list The Jane Austen Society, but I got a copy too. Hope we both love it! 🙂

Be Kind is one of my favorite phrases. Don’t forget to be kind to yourself this week – hope you handle the stress well and everything goes as well as it can. Thanks for the reminder on summer reading programs – our local library started theirs yesterday and I need to get both kids and myself signed up 🙂

Well done on your walking and your reading! And of course I’ll add you and your family to my prayer list, for whatever you/they are facing. I hope all goes well and you are able to find some peace and calm amidst the stress.

Okay, praying and wishing the situation well for you and yours. Glad you’re still able to get out and get your walking done in spite of the heat.
I loved Jane Austen Society and I got TrueL1f3, too.

I hope you get through the coming week well. Sorry to hear it likely will be a tough one.

You’re doing good on reading/ listening goals. I am doing pretty well on mine as well and even got through 2 audiobooks this month, which is a lot for me as I usually only manage to listen to 1.

  13. Mary

Oh…I have almost forgotten about my GR reading challnge. I wonder where I am with that. Stay well!

  14. Mandy Sickle

I’m praying for you hoping you have a nice week. The weather has been all over crazy some nights we are waiting till after 9 to walk with it still over 90 outside. I suspect we are headed into a hot summer. Great job on your reading goal. I hope you have a great week.

  15. Angela

We’ve been having some unusually hot weather for this time of year, and it’s making it difficult to find the motivation for walking, so good for you for sticking with it!

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. Enjoy your book this week, the Catherine Ryan Hyde especially looks good.

Kimberly, good to hear you’ve kept your walking up even with the hot weather. We’ve had the opposite problem here in the UK, the rain has returned which has put a real dampening on my jogging! I have also received an arc copy of The Jane Austen Society by Natalie Jenner – I hope we both enjoy it. You have my prayers for the coming week, take care and happy reading. ?

Wow 90 already. It’s gotten hot here too though the last few days so we might not be too far behind. Or at least 80’s anyway… and definitely sending prayers and good thoughts your way. whatever’s happening I wish you the best this week. Take care and be well.
