I just finished my 23rd audio book of this year. Thanks for hosting this challenge!
Sarah
Listened to 11 books so far and surprisingly completed the challenge early! I initially targeted a conservative Stenographer level (10-15), because I’ve never listened to more audiobooks than that a year.
“Can listen while multitasking” perfectly describes how I listen, as Covid didn’t slow anything down for me. I’ll try to hit the next level now until the end of the year 🙂
Kimberly
That is awesome. You are welcome to up your goal for this year to see where it takes you. We will have one more check-in and giveaway in December.
Debbie Haupt
i will definitely have to join this next year Kim as I’ve listened to 20 this year already, not nearly as many as you but i could probably fall between binge and marathoner 🙂
I need to come out of my shell more LOL
Kimberly
Yes, blogger events are such fun and uplifting. Do join us!
blodeuedd
I almost forgot to check in! 😀
Kimberly
Yay..glad you remembered!!
Jonetta (Ejaygirl) | Blue Mood Café
I originally signed up for Marathoner but as I’m already at 52 audiobooks listened to, I’m going for the 100 Club!
Kimberly
Wahoo! You got this!
Robin Snyder
I signed up to do 100 audios this year and luckily I’m still on track with 59 as of 6/28/20 even with all the craziness of the year.
Kimberly
That is awesome Robin.
Jennifer
Great job! Half to your goal is on point for the halfway point in the challenge.
Kimberly
Agreed 🙂
Mark
I usually listen while driving, so you can predict how poorly I’m doing with audio books this year.
Kimberly
Yep…since we are getting 30-40 days to the gallon I sure can!
Lola
I listened to 8 audiobooks so far, so i am halfway through my goal, but I have to look for a new way to listen to audios, so not sure if I’ll make my goal. You’re doing great with your challenge, you listened to so many audiobooks already!
Kimberly
Woot! That is awesome Lola!
Karin Anderson
I’m on book 66 (Red White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston). My goal for the year is 150, so I’m pretty behind.
Kimberly
2020 has been a tough year.
Rachel
Thank you Loupe for providing the Mid-Year Check in prize! Thanks Kimberly for hosting!
Lindsi
I’m only at 28%! I blame 2020, haha. Normally, I’d listen to audiobooks while driving, or letting the kids play at the playground, but we haven’t been doing much of that lately. I only listen to them now when I’m cleaning, or up really late. 🙂

Kimberly
I totally get it. While I never had a commute my reading time has been impacted the most. I listen all the time but mostly at night.
Jamie
I’ve mostly been listening to ones on Overdrive and the Cloud library thru my library. I was able to get one from the library in January. Before my local Kmart closed in February, I got some books, including two audios. I unexpectedly got three Overdive audios in May. Amny of them were on a long wait. My library now offers curbside pickup, but I have yet to get any audiobooks this way.
Kimberly
My library has the Libby app and I listen to audiobooks there and download books directly to my Kindle.
Flora
I’m doing much better than I expected to. I’ve listened to 20 books so far.
Kimberly
That is awesome Flora!
Randi Robinson
So far I have listened to 58 (out of my total books read of 99) audiobooks, including The Stand. All 48 hours of it.
Kimberly
I loved the Stand! You cannot go wrong listening to SK’s books on audio. I am split between reading totals and audio totals. I am sitting at 121 total. The longest audio this year was 26 hours.
Jen
Nice work! I’ve fallen behind this year and it’s directly related to COVID – most of my listening time was in the car to and from work, which I don’t do any more. Oh well. Thanks for hosting again this year!
Kimberly
Ah, yeah, no commute here, and with everyone home I find I am listening more. Reading is harder.
Susan T.
I’ve listened to 33 so far so I’m right on track to beat 50 for the year. I’m a bit surprised because I felt like I was having trouble focusing on anything but I guess I still did OK.
Kimberly
That is awesome and yes you will hit it or beat it!
Lisa @ waytoofantasy
Thanks again for running this challenge, having fun with it once more! 68 is amazing! That’s almost as many as I did last year in total. 🙂
Kimberly
I may have a problem ?

It’s always so sad when a blog closes. Glad to hear they are still participating. Happy listening!
Sophia Rose
Look at you go, Kimberly! Sixty-eight is a fab amount. I’m right on track for 100 Club with my 51.
Kimberly
Sweet… I know you will hit your goal!
Mary Kirkland
I don’t listen to audiobooks but have fun with the challenge.
Angela
I’ve listened to 20 audiobooks so far this year – unfortunately it has really slowed down while staying at home the last couple months! My work commute was great for listening.
