My Mom is home and has a nurse coming in. This week I traveled to Key West, Florida and survived a hurricane, traversed space with a rogue SecUnit, visited an odd town filled with the living and the dead. Got itchy with a famous witchy and in my spare time, I solved a serial killer murder and visited a magical Inn. That’s right… I read and listened to books from all genres and was transported!? Elbow hugs – Stay Caffeinated.

Pfew you had me worried and impressed for 30 seconds Kimberly! I was all :”Damn! That woman has been so badass this week!” LOL

I’m so glad your mom is home, and I hope that means she’s doing better. Reading is a great way to travel and escape our current circumstances, isn’t it? I find I’m drawn to fantasy, books set in the past, and books with a paranormal element — basically, books that aren’t in the real world and present time — because they let me spend time in a world that’s very different from here and now.

Good for you! My reading has been slow lately again but I’m hoping to focus more on reading this week. Stay well!

And that’s the glory of being a reader… you are never truly bored or alone, so long as you have a library of books alongside:)). I hope your mom makes a rapid recovery, Kimberly and elbow hugs back atcha.

I had such a hard time reading this week. Every time I picked up a book, I’d put it back down a minute later and picked up my phone instead. Oh well. Happy reading!

I’m loving catching up with an itchy witchy… I’ve missed her and her merry band of oddballs. ๐Ÿ™‚
Sofa surfing through different worlds is the only way to stay sane throughout all this.
Here’s to another week of adventures!

Wow, that’s a pretty eventful week. You must be tired. LOL Escapism through books is amazing at any time, but having that during tough times is such a gift. So glad your mom is back home!

Good to hear your mum is home now and that you’ve been travelling so voraciously in your reading – I do love how books can transport us anywhere in the world. I myself have been to an all-girls school in Brussels and a glamorous hotel in Monte Carlo this week. I was also really grabbed by the covers for your new mystery/thrillers book – They look great, so happy reading!

I’m glad your mom is home with the nurse coming in. Sounds much more comfortable. What an exciting week you had! Vicarious adventures are pretty great – especially because you can have them while wearing comfy clothes. Those Heather Graham books are calling my name but I’m trying to resist because I bought the three that came out last year and STILL haven’t read them. Have a great week!

Sounds like you had some nice journeys this week. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m looking forward to catching up with Murderbot myself here soon hopefully!

Best wishes to your mom, Kimba, and be well this week.
