Ren Lewis is the most powerful man in the world and he’s about to prove it. God, Ren believes, has battled him his entire life, trying to use him as a pawn or punish him for his wrong doings. This man, with powers most can’t fathom, has been content to use his skills to help humanity.
However, when God makes a move that will carve out Ren’s heart for the rest of his life, he makes the decision to finally outmaneuver the Almighty Creator. Using technology, philosophy, quantum physics, psychology and spirituality, Ren attempts to do something that millions of people throughout history have only dreamed of. Because he’s a strategic man, Ren plans to break God’s laws and be the first human to ever do the unspeakable.
This last installment in the Ren series is the final evolution in a man’s life who thought he never should have been born. Ren’s journey teaches him that not only does he have a heart, but that as powerful as he is, he is nothing without the love in his life. Ren Lewis will gain the power to hack the system to beat God a
The Monster’s Death is the final audiobook in the Ren/Dream Traveler series, written by Sarah Noffke and narrated by Tim Campbell. A brilliant ending for our anti-hero. I held my breath and wept as Ren’s story ended.
I love Ren, our snarky, brilliant, complicated protagonist. The author has made me clench my fists in anger, burst out laughing and has even left me weeping like a baby as I traversed the Dream Traveler series on audio. While I bulked at book four, I rallied for book five.
Ren takes on the Almighty as he works to take back what is his. While this might sound religious it isn’t really it is more Ren redefining the rules of death and inevitable separation that occurs when the living lose a loved ones.
Since the beginning we’ve seen through Ren even though he could not make himself vulnerable. The man is a romantic at heart and Noffke did such a splendid job in this last book. Ren is reborn and freed from his own constraints and expectations.
Tim Campbell became the voice of these characters and is brilliant as Ren. He captured their emotions, snark and unique personalities. He is always a favorite here at Caffeinated Reviewer.Sarah Noffke delivered a befitting end to the #DreamTraveler series with Ren: The Monster's Death. #TimCampbell #audio #UrbanFantasy Click To Tweet
