So crazy that it snowed in April over there!
Stephanie @ Once Upon a Chapter
The weather was bananas wasn’t it? We had the same experience! My sinuses have been bouncing off the walls lately. We just had an extension for the stay at home order until 5/30. I’m hoping by then we’ll see some improvements! Stay safe!
Noel
The snow looks so lovely!! <3 Hope you enjoy the books!
Tyler H. Jolley
Elbow hugs to you too. We had a cold front but no snow on the western slope. I saw Denver got like eight inches of snow. Yikes. It has been a endless winter. Here’s to warmer weather and good health.
Aj @ Read All The Things!
We had a snowstorm last week too, but it’s mostly melted now. I think it was 60 today. I hope you’re having a good week!
Lily B
It snowed here too, it was insane heh.
I need to get audible subscription back soon.
shooting
It’s crazy that some people got snow, but granted, it does happen in April sometimes. Crazy weather for sure though. I didn’t get snow, but I have had a lot of cold and rainy weather. I’m ready for some sunshine!

We were fortunate the storm missed us and we just got a dusting. Maybe more coming Tuesday. I am ready for spring!
Lover of Romance
There is nothing better than some nice grilled steaks on a nice day!!! Hope you and your family are staying safe and well.
I simply love your book additions …..Deeplight is such a gorgeous cover. love it.
MarthaE
Surprises me that you had snow!
You are really getting through the Witcher series.
Some fun new books.
I hope your family is staying healthy.
Happy Reading!
A Darker Shade of Rosie
AHHHH you got the Aurora Burning audio already!?!? So jealous!!! I can’t wait for this sequel! ?
Leona
? I wouldn’t be able to handle snow this late into the year. I’m getting frustrated just with the inconsistent weather we’ve been having here. I really can’t wait to try The Witcher series on audio. I hope they’ll be able to come out with season 2 on Netflix within the next few years.
Laura @ Library of Clean Reads
Snow! Yikes…we had a few flurries that melted straightaway so no snow, thank goodness. It’s just one more thing I don’t want to have to deal with.
P.S. Can you please remove the link #51 in the Mister Linky list? It was published by mistake. Thanks!
Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer
There was no snow here, though there were a few days where the temperatures dropped into the 30s. It warmed back up over the weekend, though it’s still a bit chilly in the 60s.
Have a wonderful week full of reading!
Lorna
I’m so jealous right now. Lasaran! I can’t wait to read that one. I may wait to read your review however. I plan on reading that as soon as it comes out. I’m also jealous of your snow. We got little to nothing here this winter. Stay safe!
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Snow?! Oh wow… I went for a walk today and came home sunburned! It’s given me a horrible headache. 🙁 Hard to believe how different the weather can be from one end of a week to another!
Enjoy your books, Kimberly! Hope you have a good week.
Jody
We finally had some sunshine and warmer weather this weekend!
Corina
Wow, 6 inches of snow in April – a treat or a pain in the butt. After watching The Witcher I was really interested in reading the books as well, but so far I haven’t found the time yet. I’ll check out your review for the audiobook.
S. J. Pajonas
Wow. That’s some crazy weather! We had some cold days here this week, but today, it’s in the 60s! Compared to March, which felt like it was 10 years long, April is flying by. Not sure why!
Anne - Books of My Heart
Hang in there! My facebook came up today with a 7 years ago memory which was a picture of snow when I lived in Minnesota. Hopefully it is done now. In MN we got snow as late as June sometimes! Not much of course.
Stay safe and have a great week! Happy reading!
jessicabookworm
Wow that really is a crazy change in weather! We’ve mostly had sunshine and warm weather, except Friday which was wet and chilly. I hope this is a nicer, calmer week of weather for you!
Sophia Rose
Yeah, the snow this week took us back to winter days again, but my pretty flowers managed to survive. I got the latest Aurora Burning, too.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
Samantha
That is some crazy weather!! Hopefully there won’t be any snow this week!
Berls
A week of Mondays is a great way to describe the past few weeks! I still can’t believe the snow… Crazy! The 70 degrees and long Island iced teas sounds quite nice though. ?
Stay safe and have a great week!
Mary Kirkland
I would love some snow right now.
Jennifer | Book Den
Wow, steaks and Long Island Iced Tea sounds amazing.
bookworm
mmm nice weather, steaks and long island iced teas sound heavenly! Pretty snow fall too. Enjoy your books this week.
Lola
Sounds like you had some crazy weather this week with the snow and then it being warm again later in the week. I hope you had some great reads or listens this week. And you got some nice looking new books too. Have a great week!
Yvonne
Wow, crazy weather. I hope with 70’s temps your snow melted. Have a great week!
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
Oh wow, what a wild weather week! Steaks and Long Island Iced Teas sound so good right now. I hope you enjoy all of your new reads. Looks like you’ve got some good ones to choose from.
Mandy @ The Reading Diaries
Sounds like you are getting even crazier weather than I thought we are in Northern California. We’ve had days of 50’s rain to days of mid 80’s. No snow but if we had snow I would be hunting for zombies next. We haven’t had snow in my part of California which is just a hop skip and jump from San Francisco since the early 1900s. Hopefully, April won’t be endless lol. Glad you enjoyed your books. Have a great week.
Mary (Kit 'N Kabookle)
We got snow, too. Last week, it was 70 degrees. April…what are you doing?
LORI CASWELL
I am so done with snow and cold. I hope we have a major warm up soon.
Hope you have a great week. Stay safe!
Carole @ Carole's Random Life in Books
Snow and grilling weather in the same week? Crazy stuff. We didn’t get any snow but it was cold midweek. Nice new additions to the tbr pile. I hope you have a great week!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
That’s crazy about the snow! I feel like that’s pretty rare even for Missouri. Although I do recall back in 2013 we had flurries in the beginning of May, though there wasn’t any accumulation. 6 inches seems pretty steep for Spring! Lol.
Nice new reads too! Some new to me ones except for Aurora Burning! I still need to read the first one. At this point I feel like I’ll be binging the two together once I get my copy!
Happy Reading!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!

Sophie
OMG you got the beach and the snow LOL And I am so jealous that you got Aurora Burning Kimberly!!!!
Vi @Inkvotary
All week long very warm and sunny weather *lol* But at least you are at home and don´t have to go out that much *smile* Happy reading & listening.
A Voracious Reader
Our weather hasn’t been all that bad except for the wind. But mom’s weather in Ohio has been batshit crazy. I hope this week finds you with nice flipflop temps.
Naomi Hop
Wow… Snow when we are heading into winter in Aus! That is crazy!
Deb Nance at Readerbuzzz
A snowstorm in April?! That snowstorm looks cold and beautiful. It sounds like you are trying to make the best of this situtation, and that you have managed to read a lot of books.
sjhigbee
Oh my word, Kimberly – how do you cope with such HUGE temperature swings?? How do your the wildlife and plants survive? Hoping it all calms down and you can keep the cold weather/shorts and T-shirt attire on for more than 2 days in a row! Have a less extreme week…
Natalie @Natflix&Books
The snow stayed away, but it has been raining like crazy. I’m definitely ready for 70 degree weather. Stay safe and happy reading!
Laura Thomas
Wow. That’s a lot of snow. Weather is so weird. LOL
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
What crazy weather! I’ve seen several snow pics on Instagram this past week and it took me by surprise every time. It hit 80 (or above) here almost every day this week.
Trish @ Between My Lines
Your weather is as confused as the whole world right now. Glad you enjoyed your books.
Tressa @ Wishful Endings
It’s so crazy that you got snow and then gorgeous weather all in the same week! Happy reading or listening this week!
vvb
Aurora Burning is looking good. Enjoy.
Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
I just can’t believe you guy got snow this week. *shakes head* Thankfully, we’ve had nice weather (it hasn’t rained in 37 days…) but it’s still starting to get to us to stay home all the time.
Thank goodness I’m back to online teaching tomorrow. I miss my students.
Elbow hugs 🙂
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
The weather has been really crazy all over the country! No snow here in Virginia, but it did get down near freezing one night, and it has been in the low to mid-fifties for much of the week, which is a bit chillier than normal for us in mid-April.
Katherine
I thought our weather was crazy but you definitely win! All that snow is nuts. I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy your reading.
Rachel
The weather has been a little crazy, right? Even for Southern California. We’re usually pretty hot by now but we’ve had weeks of on and off rain. I don’t mind it at all since we’re usually so dry, but it’s different. Is that a new Darynda Jones? I’ll have to check. Happy reading, Kimberly! 🙂
Maureen @ Maureen’s Books
OMG.. That snow!! So pretty.. but can it be summer already!
I’ve been reading a lot too. Cold Backed looks good.
Have a great week, stay safe and happy reading.
Siran
I am glad I am not the only one who believed April would be slow.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Wow, snow so late in the year! Stay cozy and safe.
Enjoy your books and your week.
Greg
We got some snow flurries too but not any real accumulation. 70’s and steaks sound better. 🙂 I could go for some grilling out right about now! 🙂
Have a safe and happy week Kimba!
