The weather was bananas wasn’t it? We had the same experience! My sinuses have been bouncing off the walls lately. We just had an extension for the stay at home order until 5/30. I’m hoping by then we’ll see some improvements! Stay safe!

Elbow hugs to you too. We had a cold front but no snow on the western slope. I saw Denver got like eight inches of snow. Yikes. It has been a endless winter. Here’s to warmer weather and good health.

It’s crazy that some people got snow, but granted, it does happen in April sometimes. Crazy weather for sure though. I didn’t get snow, but I have had a lot of cold and rainy weather. I’m ready for some sunshine!

Surprises me that you had snow!
You are really getting through the Witcher series.
    Some fun new books.
I hope your family is staying healthy.
    Happy Reading!

  6. Laura @ Library of Clean Reads

Snow! Yikes…we had a few flurries that melted straightaway so no snow, thank goodness. It’s just one more thing I don’t want to have to deal with.
P.S. Can you please remove the link #51 in the Mister Linky list? It was published by mistake. Thanks!

I’m so jealous right now. Lasaran! I can’t wait to read that one. I may wait to read your review however. I plan on reading that as soon as it comes out. I’m also jealous of your snow. We got little to nothing here this winter. Stay safe!

Snow?! Oh wow… I went for a walk today and came home sunburned! It’s given me a horrible headache. 🙁 Hard to believe how different the weather can be from one end of a week to another!
Enjoy your books, Kimberly! Hope you have a good week.

Wow, 6 inches of snow in April – a treat or a pain in the butt. After watching The Witcher I was really interested in reading the books as well, but so far I haven’t found the time yet. I’ll check out your review for the audiobook.

Hang in there! My facebook came up today with a 7 years ago memory which was a picture of snow when I lived in Minnesota. Hopefully it is done now. In MN we got snow as late as June sometimes! Not much of course.

Stay safe and have a great week! Happy reading!

  11. Sophia Rose

Yeah, the snow this week took us back to winter days again, but my pretty flowers managed to survive. I got the latest Aurora Burning, too.

    Have a good week, Kimberly!

  12. bookworm

mmm nice weather, steaks and long island iced teas sound heavenly! Pretty snow fall too. Enjoy your books this week.

  13. Lola

Sounds like you had some crazy weather this week with the snow and then it being warm again later in the week. I hope you had some great reads or listens this week. And you got some nice looking new books too. Have a great week!

  14. Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra

Oh wow, what a wild weather week! Steaks and Long Island Iced Teas sound so good right now. I hope you enjoy all of your new reads. Looks like you’ve got some good ones to choose from.

  15. Mandy @ The Reading Diaries

Sounds like you are getting even crazier weather than I thought we are in Northern California. We’ve had days of 50’s rain to days of mid 80’s. No snow but if we had snow I would be hunting for zombies next. We haven’t had snow in my part of California which is just a hop skip and jump from San Francisco since the early 1900s. Hopefully, April won’t be endless lol. Glad you enjoyed your books. Have a great week.

  16. Jessica @ a GREAT read

That’s crazy about the snow! I feel like that’s pretty rare even for Missouri. Although I do recall back in 2013 we had flurries in the beginning of May, though there wasn’t any accumulation. 6 inches seems pretty steep for Spring! Lol.

Nice new reads too! Some new to me ones except for Aurora Burning! I still need to read the first one. At this point I feel like I’ll be binging the two together once I get my copy!

    Happy Reading!

    Here’s my StS

OMG you got the beach and the snow LOL And I am so jealous that you got Aurora Burning Kimberly!!!!

  18. A Voracious Reader

Our weather hasn’t been all that bad except for the wind. But mom’s weather in Ohio has been batshit crazy. I hope this week finds you with nice flipflop temps.

  19. Deb Nance at Readerbuzzz

A snowstorm in April?! That snowstorm looks cold and beautiful. It sounds like you are trying to make the best of this situtation, and that you have managed to read a lot of books.

  20. sjhigbee

Oh my word, Kimberly – how do you cope with such HUGE temperature swings?? How do your the wildlife and plants survive? Hoping it all calms down and you can keep the cold weather/shorts and T-shirt attire on for more than 2 days in a row! Have a less extreme week…

  21. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

The weather has been really crazy all over the country! No snow here in Virginia, but it did get down near freezing one night, and it has been in the low to mid-fifties for much of the week, which is a bit chillier than normal for us in mid-April.

I thought our weather was crazy but you definitely win! All that snow is nuts. I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy your reading.

  23. Rachel

The weather has been a little crazy, right? Even for Southern California. We’re usually pretty hot by now but we’ve had weeks of on and off rain. I don’t mind it at all since we’re usually so dry, but it’s different. Is that a new Darynda Jones? I’ll have to check. Happy reading, Kimberly! 🙂

I am glad I am not the only one who believed April would be slow.

  25. Greg

We got some snow flurries too but not any real accumulation. 70’s and steaks sound better. 🙂 I could go for some grilling out right about now! 🙂

Have a safe and happy week Kimba!
