The ground hog may have predicted an early spring but dang it was cold this week! Some days my joints ached, and I never warmed up. I am counting the days until I can pull out my flip-flops!
So during the week I visited Sunday Posts and after about 45 mins realized I was in my business profile…so yeah, that was me. I hope you recognized me and didn’t think who is this crazy person acting all personal.?Stay Caffeinated.

Puxatawny Phil is losing my confidence! it’s been cold and gross here too. I’m trying to get back in shape and it’s hard to do without being able to mountain bike. Here’s to one week closer to spring
Lorna
I, on the other hand, love the cold and hate summer with a passion. And we are being robbed of a winter this year. Rain constantly and only two barely there snowfalls. Stay warm!
ShootingStarsMag
It seems like Winter is coming later this year, so I’m not so sure about this early Spring thing. LOL

I am really looking forward to normal temperatures and flip-flops! The cold has been unbearable this year, taking a toll on my toes. They got all swelled up ? Hoping that summer comes soon!
Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer
The weather has been warmer but still cold where I live.
Berls
I know, it’s been so cold here too! I’m sure you’d love our weather, but I’m a pansy where the cold is concerned. I sure am ready for it to warm up!
Have a great week and stay warm ?
MarthaE
Somehow I always end up in the 50-60s of your list. 🙂
I hope you get warm soon.
I have been eyeing Brave Girl, Quiet Girl.
Enjoy all of your reading!
Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy
Oooh Titan Shade! I can hardly wait to read it:-) Stay warm!
Kaitlyn
I’m with you about the cold! I’m counting down the days until I can bring out my summer clothes; I’m tired of feeling cold all the time!
Emma @ Words And Peace
I share your pain with the cold…And so many grey days this year here around Chicago. I guess that justifies burying oneself in books. Enjoy your week!

Lindy@ A Bookish Escape
I love flip flops and have still been wearing mine, even in this crazy cold weather. I’m looking forward to a warm-up too, my joint and nerve pain have been pretty bad this winter as well! I hope we both get our wish soon! Happy Reading Kim 🙂
Becki
Brave Girl, Quiet Girl looks very interesting! I hear you on being cold. My husband said he was cold the other day, I was like, “I’ve been cold since late September!” Hahaha…
Melissa A Kowalewski
I just want longer days so that I can get outside and run!
Maureen @ Maureen's Books
I’m so ready for the sunnier weather to come along too. I can’t wait to be able to use our own garden.
Have a great week and happy reading.
jessicabookworm
Hey Kimberly, I am back for my second link-up and pleased to hear I remembered to link back.
I am sorry to hear you’ve had such cold weather. It hasn’t been particularly cold here in the UK, but this weekend Storm Ciara has brought record winds and flooding. I felt like I was blown to church this morning! ?☔
Kristin (Book Sniffers Anonymous)
We’ve been having beautiful sunny 70 degree weather. :deadpan face: Tomorrow it’s going to snow… for two days. Mind you, I live in the desert. LoL
Sophia Rose
It was in the 30’s around here with a goodly amount of snow, but I’ll take that over the frigid stuff we usually get in January. Poor you!
LOL, visiting the blogs incognito.
Tiffany @ I Was Angelized_1st
The weather has been flip-flopping a lot. It’s so cold, then really warm, and everyone is getting sick. I think that the groundhog forgets to take global warming into consideration when he makes his predictions. LOL!
Angela (Angel's Guilty Pleasures)
The weather in my area finally stoped raining and has been getting warmer slowly. Hope you enjoy your book haul. Stay warm and happy reading!
LORI CASWELL
Woke up to about 7 inches of snow on the ground and it is still coming down. Like you, I am so ready for Summer. Try to stay warm and have a good week!!
sjhigbee
The weather isn’t being very kind here, either, given we’re currently being lashed by Storm Ciara… Looking forward to lovely hot weather, too! I hope the coming week is nicer:))
Mary Kirkland
It’s been nice and then cold on and off here for a couple of weeks. 70 yesterday and 50 today.
Sophie
Bwahahaha yes visiting with your professional profile must have been something Kimberly! Now if you are cold we are …windy and wet! It’s storming today in Belgium! I don’t dare open the door to let my small dog relieve herself LOL
Tina
Good luck keeping warm! It’s getting nippy even here in California, I’m going on strike! Haha have a good week!
Jennifer | Book Den
The weather has been so crazy! It was in the 70s and then shot down into the 40s. It has been murder on my head.
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
I’m ready for flip flop weather too. I’m so over the cold. It also rained here every day last week, so it was just cold and soggy. Good reading weather but yuck for everything else, lol.
Yvonne
Your books look so good. Enjoy them! I hope the weather starts warming up soon. Have a great week!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Hee hee! That’s kind of funny! Lol. I only start to question the comments when they sound off and the username looks bogus. Then I know it’s a spammy comment. I’ve got to set aside some time to install a new commenting system. I had a lot of spam comments earlier this week.
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones! I hope you enjoy them all!
Here’s my StS
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
Lol, I did that with Twitter the other day, I run the @ausbookbloggers account and didn’t realise I was still logged in and was liking stuff with that account instead of my personal one.
I hope it warms up for you soon!
Wishing you a great reading week
Ali @ Our Book Boyfriends
It can decide if it wants to freeze or be flip flop weather where I am. It’s supposed to rain here all week, and I’d be happy to get rid of that for a little while.
Lola
We’ve had a super mild winter so far and some spring flowers are already popping up, it’s weird. I hope you get some warmer weather soon. Have a great week!
Stacy Renee @ LazyDayLit
It is freezing (by my standards) down here in FL right now. We had a big storm and now it’s a miserable wet cold. Let’s hope there are warmer days ahead!
I hope you enjoyed The Last Wish! I’m about to start The Witcher series!
Have a great week, Kimba! 🙂
Samantha
It finally snowed here. I’m excited about it. However, today its suppose to rain, so all the snow will be gone.
Hope you have a warmer week!
Vi @Inkvotary
Oh well, shit happens *lol* Have a great Sunday and happy reading & listening!
A Voracious Reader
I think Spring has arrived here. Except for it being cold the last couple nights, we’re up into March temps. It gets earlier every year. I guess we’ll be starting our seeds in about a week or so. Wtf I hope it warms up for you soon, Kim!
Ailyn Koay
I think you not only need coffee, you need Cuban Coffee ( I learned from comedian Gabrielle Iglesias that they are strong)
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
I’ve been bemoaning the fact that it’s been so unseasonably warm here this week but after reading how cold it’s been in your area I’m thinking maybe I should be happy with what I’ve got! LOL
Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms
It’s been cold back home in Geneva, too. Which is why I’m happy to spend a few days in Spain where it’s much nicer, and spring like.
Have a wonderful week ahead Kim! Hugs
Amy
It’s definitely still Winter here! We’re in the middle of a storm right now and it’s so gloomy outside. I can’t wait for Spring to arrive.
Have a wonderful week 🙂
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Lol, it must require a lot of conscious thought to keep them separate. I’m sure most (if not all) are well aware that you’re the person behind Caffeinated Pr. 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing what you thought of Taming Demons!
Rachel
Lol, for different profiles! I have them too. I’m enjoying sunshine even with some colder temps (for California mind you).
I loved Alone in the Wild! 🙂
Laura Thomas
It got pretty cold here for a couple of days. Then it warmed up and rained again. I’ll take the rain over the cold. LOL
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Virginia seems to think it is already spring — I even saw forsythia blooming this afternoon. You’re welcome to visit!
Siran
It was 50° (I think) this past week.
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
That’s funny! I’ve sometimes visited blogs in Classics Club mode before realizing that, oops, no, I’ve put on my wrong costume.
The weather! Oh my. Warm then cold. Freezing then almost hot. Don’t know what’s going on with the weather.
Have a lovely week.
Leona
Oh my goodness that’s too funny. I always have to check when I’m posting on my social media whether I’m posting to, or from, the intended account lol.
Laurel-Rain Snow
I keep hearing good things about The Tenant. Enjoy all of your books and your upcoming week. I hope you stay warm!
Greg
I’m ready for flip flop weather for sure. We got snow and it’s still cold, although this winter hasn’t been TOO bad here, I have to say. Still… bring on spring!
