The Royal Princess turned five!! Fried chicken, cake and presents were on the menu. Sophia was all smiles. We had snow, ice and bitter temperatures and it looks like we will repeat it again this week. I ventured out only when necessary. ?I still have a stack of reviews to write. Stay Caffeinated.

Where does the time go? She’s FIVE! Happy belated birthday to Sophia! Does that mean Kindergarten next year? My daughter is a September bday so we really wrestled with sending her as a young five-year-old or an “old” six-year-old.

  2. Katherine

I refuse to believe that Sophia is 5! How is that possible? These children think they can grow up way too fast. I would most definitely stay inside with that weather. It sounds way too cold!

  3. MarthaE

    Happy Birthday to the RoyalP.
I’m cold here at 47 (and damp). I don’t want your cold.
Smoke Bitten is in my Wish list and I plan to pick it when released.
The other new books look good too.
    Happy Reading!

  4. Wendy

Snow and cold, eh? We were predicted to get some snow accumulation here in western Oregon and we got..about ten minutes of softly falling flake that melted as they hit the ground. Sigh.

  5. Kaitlyn Csenkey

Happy birthday to the Princess! I hear you about the backlog of reviews to write; I feel like that’s all I’ve been doing this weekend.

  6. Sophia Rose

Yap for Princess Sophia! Sounds like a great birthday agenda for a cold January day.

I got Close Up and A Royal Witch, too. Crossing my fingers that I get picked for the Mercy Thompson.

    Have a great week, Kimberly!

  7. LORI CASWELL

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SOPHIA!!!!

Cold and snowy here too and I have been dealing with a sinus infection and staying inside too. Have a great week.

  8. Carla

Happy Birthday to Princess Sophia. They grow so fast. It looks like you have some good reads coming up. I am in the same boat, I am behind on reviews, behind on reading and commenting on blogs, behind on ….. Have a great week Kimberly.

  9. Anne - Books of My Heart

They grow so fast! This was our cold week but but not as cold as you are having. I want to shut down when it’s that cold, just curl down and sleep or read.

I hope you have a great week!

  10. A Voracious Reader

Happy Birthday Princess Sophia! I also have a stack of reviews to do. *sigh* I hope this week sees us getting them done. Or at least the bulk of them. *fingers crossed*

Happy Birthday to her! That sounds like a fun birthday! And happy reading this week! I haven’t read Diane Chamberlain in a while but I’ve enjoyed her work before.

  12. Lola

Happy birthday to Sofia! I hope she had an awesome day. Sounds like you’re havign some cold weather there. I hope you can get some of those reviews written. Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

  13. Berls

Wow, 5 already!? Time sure does fly – I remember when you shared that your daughter was pregnant with Sophia and it does not feel that long ago! Happy birthday to the princess!

    Good luck with the review writing and try to stay warm!! {{HUGS}}

Wow, it’s hard to believe she is five! Sounds like you had a great time with the birthday. Sorry to hear it’s so cold up there, I was glad it went north of us but that means it hits you…bummer. We just got a dusting off that last snow storm.

Have a great week and happy reading,
    Stormi

Happy Birthday to Princess Sophia! The weather has had me hibernating too. I have a stack of reviews I need to write too and am hoping for the motivation to start them today. Hope you have a great week!

  16. Lorna

I can’t believe she’s already 5! Time sure flies. We’ve yet to get over an inch of snow yet- and that’s fine with me. Sounds like you are getting hit hard. Sorry this is late.

  17. Vlora

Whaaa I don’t usually care about ARCs, but I LOVE Mercy Thompson. I am now impatiently waiting for that. 😀 Congrats on the birthday!

  18. sjhigbee

Blimey! Five years old, already… when did THAT happen?? Glad you had such a happy day together and keep snugged up and warm, Kimberly:)

  19. Sophie

That’s so exciting to hear that the little princess is five already! Time is flying by but it seems that she was in heaven! Stay warm this week Kimberly! Oh and just for your info: I am breezing through the Audiobook Challenge! I might have to rise may level LOL

  20. Greg

Happy birthday to Sophia! Glad it was a good time. The weather has been kinda iffy here too, but we didn’t get as much snow and ice as they were predicting so I guess we got lucky! Hope your weather this week isn’t too bad…

  21. Laurel-Rain Snow

Wow, how time flies! Sophia is already five, and I’ll bet it seems like just the other day that she was born.

Enjoy your week and your new books.
