The weather has brought snow, cold and wind, so its audiobooks and Netflix for me as I try to kick strep throat & ear infections. UGH! Apparently everyone is sick. I spent 2 hours at my Doctors and waited forever at the pharmacy. Stay Caffeinated.

Winter is HERE. We’re on day ten of an inversion. The air is terrible and it’s cold. How many days until spring? Lol Be well, Kimba!

  2. Olivia Roach

Everyone being ill certainly sounds like winter to me. I am glad to be in Australia where it is nice and sunny and warm! I am hoping you get better and everyone around you too. And yay for new books to keep you company through the cold.

You got some fun new books to enjoy. Happy Reading!

You are the second blogger I know that has strep throat. It’s such a nasty bug! When it’s cold and bad out and you feel horrible audiobooks are definitely the way to go. Or Netflix.

  6. Lindy@ A Bookish Escape

Oh no Kim!!! Strep throat is the worst! Herbal Medicinals makes a tea called throat coat that her;ps me when my throat is killing me. I hope you feel better soon friend :). Take Care of yourself!

  7. Kerry @ The Reading Anomaly

Hi, Kimberly! I just discovered your blog and this meme and love it so much. I’m so sorry you’re sick! I had a nasty bout of strep a couple weeks ago myself, so I can imagine how feel. I hope you get better quickly!

Urg! I’m so sorry that you have been smitten, Kimberly:(. Here’s hoping audiobooks and Nexflix do their magic and that you soon feel much, much better…

Infection seems to be rolling through our house. My turn this week with a nasty head cold, I like your plan of audios and Netflix.

I got Diamonds Are a Ghost’s Best Friend, too. 🙂

    Feel better this week, Kimberly!

  10. Carole's Random Life in Books

I am sorry that you are sick. I hope that you start feeling better very soon. We have a nice layer of snow on the ground right but I don’t think it is really all that much. I don’t want to go out in it though. I read Crush the King a few months ago and adored it! I hope you enjoy all of your new books and have a great week!

  11. Anne - Books of My Heart

I have 3 of the 4 ARCs you got but I just got those 2 audiobooks this week also. I’m so sorry you are not well. A lot of people are sick. I’m thankful that the worst I had was a headache yesterday. Either way more fluids are important. I really hope you feel better soon. My reading is MOODY. Enjoy those new reads!

I’m sorry you’re sick, Kim! And I hope you’ll feel better real soon! Here it’s still way too warm for winter – it’s sunny and we don’t even need a jacket going outside. It’s really weird.

I’m so sorry you’re sick!! Strep is the worst too and then ear infections on top of it? Yuck! It’s been going around here too but we’ve just had some colds about two weeks before Christmas. I’m hoping that will be it. Knock on wood. I hope this week goes better for you!
