Anyone else got the funk? I have bronchitis. On the upside I binge-watched The Virgin River (based on the series by Robyn Carr) on Netflix. Loved it! Even the changes were well done. I also devoured the third season of Mrs. Maisel on Prime. Hopefully by the time you read this our holiday shopping will be done. Stay Caffeinated!

Oh dear. Here’s hoping you will really be able to recover soon! I have seen Queen of the Conquered around and I really want to read that one. And the ten thousand doors of january too. Happy reading x
S. J. Pajonas
I am definitely blah and unhappy. I feel ya. I just finished Big Little Lies on HBO. It was really good!
Crystal
I hope you feel better soon! Enjoy your new books. I have a copy of The Rage of Dragons, and I’m interested in Queen of the Conquered.
Nicole @ F
Hope you feel better soon! I need to finish my holiday shopping SOON—so much to do this time of year!
sjhigbee
I’m so sorry about the bronchitis! I hope you soon recover – in the meantime look after yourself and get plenty of rest. It won’t leave in a hurry, otherwise… Take care, Kimberly.

Feel better soon and enjoy your newest additions.

Oh no! I hope you feel better quickly for the holidays. Dante has been sick this week too. Congrats on the holiday shopping, we’ve hardly started.
ShootingStarsMag
Ugh, I hate being sick. I hope you feel better soon!! I’m ALMOST done with Christmas shopping. Most of what I still need to get probably won’t go to people until after Christmas, so I have a bit of time.

We have had an outbreak of Whooping Cough here. Several kids in my school got it and its a citywide outbreak. NOT FUN. Thankfully, I just got the booster vaccine this summer before my surgery.
Hopefully your funk passes quickly!
Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books
Oh no! Sorry to hear you have bronchitis! That sucks. Speedy healing!
I’m so excited to see the American Demon promo next week! I adored The Hollows and Rachel and Trent are perfect… I’m a little terrified that Harrison returning to the Hollows will break them but I’m clinging to the belief that no matter what happens that epilogue from The Witch With No Name holds true! They better keep their HEA!
Maureen @ Maureen's Books
Oh no.. bronchitis? That sucks! I hope you feel better soon Kimberly.
Angela (Angel's Guilty Pleasures)
Hope you feel better. Have a great week!
Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life

Mary Kirkland
So far so good. I almost always get sick this time of year but nothing yet this year.
Yvonne
I’m sorry to hear about your bronchitis. I hope you’re feeling better. I forgot all about the Virgin River series on Netflix. I read the first book in the series years ago and loved it. I always enjoy that author. I will have to check out the series. I just finished Mrs. Maisel. That is such a good show. Have a great week!
Sophia Rose
Bummer about the crud showing up, but yay for Virgin River. I have that on my list to watch though I’ve only read a couple from the series.
I got bit by the shopping for me bug, too.
Have a good week, Kimberly!
LORI CASWELL
I’m sorry you are sick, I hope you kick it to the curb my Christmas. But at least you are watching some fun television.
Anne - Books of My Heart
I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well and hope that clears up quickly. I have done no Christmas shopping or decorating really. We get what we want/need when we find it. BUT I have unpacked or stored my daughter’s boxes and now she can work through them 1-2 at a time when she wants. Have a lovely week and enjoy those new reads!
Stacy Renee @ LazyDayLit
I thankfully haven’t caught anything yet considering how much I’ve been out and about this month but the holiday stress is definitely getting to me! I need a day off to read and write!
Happy Holidays, Kim!! 🙂
Deb Nance at Readerbuzz
You have had so much trouble with respiratory infections. I’m sorry to hear you are not well.

I definitely feel like I’ve got a cold or something! It must be the season! Good luck with your holiday shopping!
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Ugh, so sorry to hear you have bronchitis. You’ve really been knocked down by colds and viruses this year! 🙁
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Oh eck. Being sick just sucks, but at least you were able to get some binge watching done! Lol. Hope you’re on the mend!
Nice new reads! So many new to me ones here! Lol. I hope you enjoy them all!

Sorry to hear about your funk and bronchitis. I hope you feel better soon. That’s nice you got to binge watch two good series though. My holiday shopping has been done and I just finished wrapping everything. Have a great week!
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
I binge watched Virgin River last week too.
You’ve added some great books to your shelf.
Wishing you a great reading week
Jan @ Notes from a Readerholic
I’m so sorry to hear you have bronchitis, Kimberly. I had a bad cold earlier in the month, but I think it’s finally gone. I hope you get better soon, too.
And I hope you have a good, restful week with lots of fun reading.
Suzanne @ The Bookish Libra
Ugh, I hope you feel better soon! I’ve been wanting to watch Mrs. Maisel. Everyone I know raves about it.
A Voracious Reader
Oh noessss! I’m going to rev up my {{{posivibe}}} machine and wing some your way. Get thee away, Funk! Kimberly says to go pound salt. There. I hope that helps. If not, it’s going to be in the upper 50s to low 60s here. Not too cold to do a naked moonlight dance. lol
Vi @Inkvotary
Oh oh, that does not sound good. But on the other hand, having time to binge watch some series is a good thing. I am curious if and when that Robyn Carr series will be available on free TV. We don´t have Netflix here or Prime. Get well soon and have a great new week.
Genesis @ Whispering Chapters
I didn’t know about The Virgin River. I’ll be looking for it! I’ve been sick in and out this semester. Everyone tells me it’s normal what with being a first time teacher. I just want to be healthy again! I hope you recover quickly.
Ailyn Koay
it is too hot for bronchitis XD we are getting 40C heat for the week coming
Amy
I keep meaning to watch Mrs Maisel but I’ve just never got around to it! Maybe I’ll finally watch it during the winter break.
I hope you have a speedy recovery from bronchitis! Happy reading.
Sumedha
Hope you feel better soon! I was sick whole of last week but I’ve recovered right in time for finals, phew!
Natalie @Natflix&Books
Hope you feel better soon! There is so much sickness going around my school and I’m just praying I don’t catch it. Happy reading!
Wendy @ Falconer's Library
I hadn’t hear of Virgin River; now I will have to check it out. There’s been so much norovirus in my school district this month that one school closed for three days, and those of us who are healthy are having to cover classes during our plan periods because there are no more subs left. Hope you recover soon!
Tressa @ Wishful Endings
So sorry about the bronchitis! All four of my kids took turns being sick over the last two weeks and I’m hoping I won’t catch it. I need to check out both of those shows. I purchased my last gift today, so I’m done. Now I have a few birthday gifts to get and the house to clean. I hope you get better this week, Kimberly!
Laura Thomas
I binged Virgin River and loved it too! Now I want to go back and read the books. I hope you feel better, Kimberly.
Laurel-Rain Snow
Oh, I love Mrs. Maisel! And now I want to check out The Virgin River.
Enjoy your week and the upcoming holidays….thanks for sharing.
Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard
Sorry to hear you are sick again! I hope it clears up quickly. I am looking forward to Virgin River (once I finish this work project), but am a little apprehensive about the changes. I love those books so much. It’s good to know that you enjoyed the Netflix adaptation. As for holiday shopping, I’m only about 1/2 way done. (gulps nervously)
Greg
Oh no- sorry tohear about the bronchitis. I had that a couple months ago- no fun. Hope you feel better soon. I saw Virgin River pop up on my Netflix recs and it looked pretty good.
Lillian @ Mom with a Reading Problem
I just finished binging Virgin River tonight! It was so good. I bought the book after I realized it was a book first and plan to read it soon. I’m glad it’s already been renewed for a second season 🙂
I’m sorry you’re sick! My son was down with the crud over Thanksgiving and I’ve had it this last week. Thankfully it seems to have run its course. My voice is just gone.
Hope you have a great week!
