This ended up being a fairly good week and I’ll take it. We went for a horse-drawn carriage ride on Friday evening with the Royals, and decorated our tree on Saturday. I attempted to shop and ended up buying Audible Escape and Kindle Unlimited deals for myself. Hopefully I will be in the mood this week and will get it done. ?I did buy the Royals their gifts before Thanksgiving. Stay Caffeinated!

Enjoyed seeing pictures of the carriage ride. And I’m glad you finally had a good week. I finally figured out the KU gifting to myself thing and went ahead and got it for two years. I think it’s going to save me like a hundred dollars that way. I love Escape. Between those and all the listen free ones on KU I rarely have to buy audios anymore. It’s pretty great.

I probably won’t keep Escape all the time, but will pick it up now and again. Romance isn’t my main genre for audio as I am sure you can tell from following me, I tend to listen to more fantasy, science fiction and thrillers. I enjoy KU though and last year picked it up 3 times on the 3 months for 99 cents deal.

A Conspiracy of Bones looks pretty good. And yay for having a good week! The horse drawn carriage sounds like fun and it’s always easier to slip into the festive mood once you get the Christmas tree done 🙂

I’m glad you had a good week.
I am going to have to check what Bones book I was on. I think I read through book 12.
And I am way behind in Ruggles books.
I have to get shopping this week!
Have another good week and Happy Reading!

Sounds like fun. I don’t have my decorations up yet, but am almost done with shopping. Hope to get things done this week and then read my Christmas themed books.

So glad you had a better week and had a good time with the kids. LOL, I got distracted from gift shopping by sales on things I’ve needed and wanted, but I eventually got back on track. 🙂

    Have a great week, Kimberly!

I am so happy to hear some positive news Kimberly!!! And I never could resist spoiling my kids aroun Christmas LOL

I wanted to go on a horse drawn carriage ride when I was in NYC a few years ago but ended up doing something else. Thanks for the info and link to Audible Escape, I just joined.

Omg a carriage ride sounds amazing this time of year! Also, I’m finally glad to be back in the blogging-sphere. I took a little break due to moving, and it was much needed! Hope everything has been well since I last commented lol

Your carriage ride sounds wonderful, Kimberly. And I may have to subscribe to Audible Escape since there are some auidobooks I’ve been wanting. I’ve already done the Kindle Unlimited deal and have been reading lots of KU books. I’ve found some new authors I really like plus some of my favorite authors have Kindle Unlimited books.

    Have a great week!

I am so happy you had a good week. I have been doing most of my shopping online and have had to stop myself several times from adding something for myself. 🙂

Hope you have anything good week!!

The horse-drawn carriage ride sounds like fun! (But cold, I’ll wager.) And hurray for getting the tree up! We did ours last Sunday, but I didn’t finish the scene underneath until Friday. It’s a big undertaking!

I hope this week goes well for you, and I hope you get your shopping done! I’m still working on mine, too.

I’m glad you had a good week and I’m so jealous of the horse and carriage ride! I don’t know of anyplace around here that does that. I signed up for KU. My monster porn search begins! lolol

  13. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Nice! Glad you had a good week! That’s always better than the not so good ones! It’s funny you mention buying gifts for yourself, because I’ve been doing that a bit too! It’s like I buy a gift for someone on my list…then find myself ordering something for myself! It’s been a back and forth process lately! Lol!

Nice new reads! They’re new to me ones, I hope you enjoy them both!

I’m glad you had a good week! Ooo good choice. I have a link and plan to partake of the AE deal. I’ll be looking for a KU deal again when my current one expires. For now, it is a good deal. I hope you continue to enjoy your holiday month with the Royals and their fun activities.

That definitely sounds like a good week. The horse drawn carriage ride sounds like such a lovely treat. And yay for getting some shopping down and for treating yourself to a few goodies too. 🙂

I have only bought one Christmas gift so far! Ugh. I have no idea what to get my husband. He is so hard to buy for. Have a great week.

  17. Lola

I am happy to hear this was a fairly good week for you. Good luck with the shopping. And it’s nice to treat yourself with something nice as well :). Have a great week!
