I had a busy week, with the second phase of dental surgery, two events and lots of meetings. It kept me busy and my mind off our troubles. It also kept me from reading. I did listen to audiobooks, but I am hoping to get some reading in. In other news, a cold front has moved in and they are calling for snow on Halloween. ?Stay Caffeinated!

How is your dental work coming along? The cold front has hit here in Colorado too. It is SO cold. No mountain biking for a long while.

  2. MarthaE

I hope you are healing with minimal discomfort. I also hope you get nice snow and nothing that will infringe on a fun Halloween.
Nice mailbox. I snagged the Darynda Jones title too. Hope we both enjoy it.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!

  3. Nise' (Under the Boardwalk)

Hope you are healing well after the dental work. This year I will be in sunny FLA for Halloween! I won’t miss the usual cold rainy weather we experience. Looking forward to the new Darynda Jones book.

  4. Erin @ Cracker Crumb Life

Ugh we have snow in our forecast too!! I always hated a coat over my costume as a kid. Lol. Now my little Cookie Monster will have to wear one too. Lol. Fingers crossed it stays away.

  5. Rachel

Oh dental work is never fun! Hope you get it over with quickly.

I’m curious about Daryda Jones’ new series! 🙂

So are you all done with the dental surgery now? You did have an eventful week. I had a crazy week as well. I took a lot of police pictures yesterday and posted them today.

Kimberly that’s great to have your mind not focused on your problems but it’s a littel sad that a dental surgery has to do that! LOL Now I know your family visit was also heping so of course I am just joking. I just wish that what you are worried about would just magically disappear! It would be fitting this month’s magic 😉 Lots of positive thoughts coming your way anyway!

  8. Anne

I hope the dental surgery went well and now you are a bit more relaxed. The audiobooks were all I could do many days when I was moving. They kept me sane. Happy Halloween and no snow.

Ouch ouch ouch! I am not a fan of the dentist but that is more because it’s so expensive and I don’t have insurance for it. 🙂 I hope you are feeling better!
We are getting the weird weather at the moment, it’s cold but sometimes warm but cold and today it’s raining and cold. I just want a normal weather pattern lol

Hope this week is awesome for you Kim! Happy Reading! xx

  10. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Our temps are just finally dropping, but thankfully we’re still above freezing! I’m ready for cold but not snow yet. It seems we always just get extremes here, nothing in between and if we get random days that are in between, it usually means a chance of me getting sick because of the dramatic temperature changes! Lol.

Nice new reads! I’m kind of curious about Darynda’s new book though it’s not a paranormal mystery. I adore her writing though, so I might just be giving it a try anyway!

    Happy Reading!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!

Dental surgery doesn’t sound like fun, Kimberly, but I’m glad you found the silver lining that kept your thoughts away from your troubles. I hope you’re enjoying the W.R. Gingell series. She’s one of my favorite authors!

I also hope you get in some reading this next week. It’s going to be a cold week here, too. A great time to read, I hope!

Snow on Halloween. :0 That is super exciting! I hope your dental stuff goes smoothly & you get some time to read! It’s still 80 degrees here.

We must be in line for the same cold front! Only bad thing is it will be raining for like two days before and then a chance of snow! I hope it doesn’t stick!!!!! Side note, glad I don’t have kids who want to trick or treat…lol.

Have a great week and happy reading!

I hope your dental surgery went well. Good luck with the cold weather. Here the weather’s been mild for this time of the year. That’s nice you got at least through some audiobooks this week.

  15. Natalie @Natflix&Books

It always snowed on Halloween where I grew up. We’d have to wear heavy coats on top of our costumes. I’ve been eyeing up A Bad Day For Sunshine. It looks fun. Happy reading!

  16. Deb Nance at Readerbuzz

Oh my! Snow on Halloween? The day they announce that it’s going to snow on Halloween here is a day we should all prepare for end times! There is actually a tropical storm out in the Gulf right now. Crazy!

Have a good week. I hope your troubles continue to sit on the back burner or get pushed off the burners completely.

  17. A Voracious Reader

I hate when I’m busy and am kept from reading. Because I binged this week and now I have 7 reviews to write. Uggghhh. I hope this upcoming week is less busy with more reading for you, Kim!

  18. Nicci @ Sunny Buzzy Books

Snow on Halloween? No thank you! They can save that until mid-November at least! I love snow but Halloween and Guy Fawkes should be snow free for me. 🙂

I hope you get more reading in this week! Take care.

I hope all the dental surgery went well, and that it’s all behind you now!
It’s not really cold here yet, and the weather is great, with sun and clear skies, and the trees in every color.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

  20. Amy

Sounds like you had a hectic week, I hope you get some downtime soon! Snow on Halloween sounds like fun but I’m glad it isn’t cold enough for that here.

    Have a great week 🙂

Oh no, not snow on Halloween! We had that a couple years ago, it was FREEZING and just a total drag! Hopefully you don’t get it too bad!

Have a good week Kimba! 🙂

  22. Tabatha @Broken Soul Reviews

We are slowly dropping temp here too! We had a crazy “tropical storm” roll through today with NO warning; 70mph winds and all kids of stuff.. Had to rescue my daughter and dad from his truck after some trees fell on it on their way home! They are calling for a cold front on Halloween here, but man would I love snow! (just not until Christmas time!)

  23. Siran

Halloween is still five days away
The weather forecast can change a lot between now and then.
