My in-laws arrive today! For the month of September I read/listened to 22 books and I ended at 171/200 books towards my Goodreads 2019 challenge. I am almost recovered from my illness. I still have some congestion, but I shall live. Hubby is doing well, and things are in a state of limbo with the thing that keeps us up at night, so for now we shall enjoy our guests. Stay Caffeinated!

Glad both yourself and your husband are on the mend! Hope you’ve had a nice time with your in laws.
22 books is fantastic for September! You’re going to smash your goodreads total at your current pace. πŸ™‚

Glad you and your husband are feeling better but sorry for the lack of rest. That’s tough and I hope you get some peace soon. That Robyn Carr is calling my name. I’ve really been enjoying her books lately. I hope this week is better for you.

  3. Lorna

I must have missed something. Is your husband sick? Or my mind has just forgot as usual. Glad you are feeling better. Fall is my time for headaches of the allergy/sinus kind. I do take daily medication all year long and they are better than when I didn’t. I’ll keep telling myself that! Enjoy your company and hopefully that will keep your mind occupied.

  4. Tyler H. Jolley

I’m so sorry for the unrest. I hope you and your husband find peace and resolution with whatever is keeping you up at night.
I’m excited for your review of The Institute. I have it on my kindle but haven’t started it yet!

  5. Lark @ The Bookwyrm's Hoard

I’m glad you’re feeling better, and glad your husband is doing well. And I pray that whatever’s keeping you up at night will be resolved or healed in the best way possible. Enjoy your in-laws’ visit, and your new books. I got The Country Guesthouse this week, too &emdash; can’t wait to read it!

Glad you are better and that hubby is on the mend. Enjoy your visit. Good job on the challenge. With the way my year has been going, I reduced my goal so I will be successful! LOL Have a great week..

  7. MarthaE

You did well at 22 books for a month during which you have been dealing with issues.
I hope you get fully recovered before the cold weather sets in.
I hope you enjoy your visit and another week of reading.

  8. Melanie Simmons

Fall has finally arrived. I’m so glad for the cooler weather. We had all the windows in the house open for the first time ever. Our house is older and had original windows, most of which were chalked shut. We replaced all the windows earlier this summer, but its been to hot to open them. I always love the first time we open the windows in the spring and fall.

  9. Berls

Glad to do your hubby is doing okay after his surgery! I hope you had a nice birthday as well – I know it probably was overshadowed by all you have going on this week! Enjoy your visitors and get to feeling better!

  10. Anne

It’s amazing anything progressed in September in this crazy life. I really hope you and your husband are feeling much better soon and that your in-laws visit is pleasant rather than stressful.

I’m looking forward to get your take on The Library of the Unwritten. I’m still reading it. Happy reading!

  11. Lola

Sounds like you still worked your way through a good amount of books. I am glad to hear you’re feeling better and I hope you have a fun visit with your in-laws.

Wow! In the In-Laws are here! Sounds like you’ll be plenty busy(lol) So glad you are feeling much better, and hate that you had to go through that for so long. That Goodreads total is pretty impressive too! Hugs, RO

I hope you feel better soon! I am sorta in the same boat as you. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and due to the number of OTHER people needing those scuba mask thingies, I couldn’t get an appt until NOV 14. In the meantime, I just grab a quick nap here and there.

  19. Greg

Hope you have a great time with your guests, and wishing you the best with the issue you have. Hope all turns out well. Glad to see the HoHoHo coming around again! My favorite time of year. πŸ™‚

  20. Rachel

Glad to hear you’re on the mend and your hubby is doing well.

I got a copy of CoHo’s newest, too. Hope we both love it! πŸ™‚
