I woke up the morning of my dental surgery with a tickle and sore throat. After an almost three hour procedure I came home numb and sore only to wake up later with a fever. Things quickly went downhill from there. On Friday a trip to the doctor confirmed strep, ear infections and in case that wasn’t enough a bladder infection. WTH?!? I left with a shot in the arse, ten days of meds and orders to rest. I will be buried under the covers if you need me. Stay Caffeinated!

Hey! I got a shot in the arse yesterday too. Although, I have pharyngitis and not strep, although the symptoms are similar. They’d previously diagnosed me with the flu AND strep, but later said it was pharyngitis when my symptoms didn’t improve. They even thought rheumatic fever for awhile! Geesh. I know how you’re feeling, minus the dental procedure, but ugh. I can’t even imagine that on top of everything else. I hope you feel better soon!!
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? ?
Wendy @ Falconer's Library
Oh NO! I hope you are at least well enough to listen to audiobooks while you rest.

WTH indeed! I’m so sorry you’re sick, especially on top of all the dental work. That’s unfair. Cuddle under the covers with a good book, and don’t come out until you’re feeling better!

Oh no Kim!!! How horrible 🙁 I hope you get better quickly. How lemon balm or throat coat or cinnamon tea should help soothe your throat. heating up olive oil and putting it on cotton balls, and then putting it in your ear will help with the ear pain.
