Mr. Caffeinated won a contest at work for Grandparent’s Day. So today we along with the Royals, and their parents are attending a special breakfast and enjoying a day at the Children’s Museum. After last weekend at Vala’s pumpkin patch and then, our community picnic; complete with face-painting, ponies, bounce houses and water ice, our grandchildren think we rock. Me, I am a tired but I prayed for something to keep my mind far from the worries that have been plaguing us. The Lord has certainly answered. ?Stay Caffeinated!

Oh what a fun win! Sounds fun but definitely so exhausting. Hopefully it kept you distracted. I have that Heather Graham arriving soon and I’m really looking forward to it. Of course I was really looking forward to the last two and they’re still sitting untouched on my shelf!

  2. Daniela Ark

Glad to hear you got some distraction from all your worries! Congrats to Mr. Caffeinated on winning that contest! Hope you all had fun at that special breakfast and the Children’s Museum.. Children’s Museums are the best I love them! And of course you guys rock! 🙂

Sounds like another fun weekend with the grands!
God is so faithful – even when we don’t understand the process.
I’m still praying for your situation.
The Shape of Night looks interesting – but so do the others!
    Enjoy your reading/listening.

That’s awesome! Congrats on the win! And I bet you rock as grandparents even if you didn’t do as much with them. 😉

I am happy that you rock as grand parents but also sad that you have worries Kimberly! And thanks for featuring my discussion!!!

Of course your grandchildren think you rock — you DO! I’m glad you’ve been having so much fun with them, and that it’s helping keep your mind off your worries to some extent.

Ooh, you got The Stalking! I’ve been watching NetGalley and Edelweiss for it, but it hasn’t showed up on either yet. I put in a hold at my library, though.

Have a great week, and may your worries grow lighter this week.

I’m sorry you have worries but so glad you have the fun activities with the Royals to remember what is really important. I am just starting The Library of the Unwritten. I’m still to far behind on the Krewe of Hunters to request current stuff plus I am audio on that for Luke Daniels. Enjoy your reads and have an even better week!

Nice new reads too! Really curious about The Library of the Unwritten! I put a request in for that one, so hopefully it won’t be too far behind! Fingers crossed!

I hope you enjoy the lovely new reads!

That’s always nice when the grandparents rock. 🙂 Glad you’ve been having some fun with the Royals!

I like that cover for the Sun Down Motel- it kinda has that retro vibe feel that I like. Hope your books are all good this week! 🙂
